Thanks to overzealously squeezing my bottle of black paint, I was forced into an impromptu mass-priming setting, the result of which being that everything from Icestorm is now primed. 5 minis to go, 1 day before my self-imposed 1-week deadline is up.

Can it be done? Time to find out...

So, I found out mixing bright green paint with this kind of shiny goldish paint I found makes a lovely metallic green. A bit like weathered copper. I think I'm in love with it.

Starting to work on my Nagash. Sub assembly and tomorrow prime and paint!

Slapped a layer of leadbelcher on my kitbashed Gorkanaut.

Still working on a few more gubbins, and then an absolute gakton of painting...

Getting through a pair of Naffatun. Basecoat all done, and they just got their ink bath. Also working on my second Young Nephilim. Such an amazing model but so irritatingly annoying to build and paint.

Finished converting a (simple) CSM Dark Apostle, and kitbashed a "Company Champion" for them, too!

I actually got to see and play some games today, crazy right?

First, I watched some folks play X-wing and it looks like a nice little game. Not necessarily something I'd want to go all-in on, but maybe something you could convince me to buy the starter+a ship or two for, if it's being played enough around here.

Then one of the guys ran a short little pathfinder adventure and for a couple of hours I was some kind of eastern-themed cleric keeping the ninja and samurai alive against the odds, nuking vampires with positive thinking energy.

Turns out the local game shop that opened a year or so ago in town also has branched out to boardgames of some kind and no longer only dabbles in MTG, I shall have to go cure my ignorance of this situation and perhaps partake of their boardgame Wednesday!

Sounds like fun! Boardgames Wednesday sounds like a ripe recruiting ground for Deadzone/DBX/Mars Attacks!

After the Icestorm frenzy, I've been in doldrums the last couple of days, contemplating finishing up Space Hulk and repainting my Military Orders and some Deadzone stuff.

I mentioned Mars Attacks to the guy that runs the monthly library games day thing (what I was doing today) and he sounded kind of excited to see it as well.

Wonder if I should try to get it painted up by the 22nd or so (next event). Would be a bit of a challenge lol.

I just decided to make a 2x3 battleboard on a whim today! It's one of those 22x30 MDF boards that every drawing class suggests you have. Wellllll, I had two that I wasn't using, so BATTLEBOARDS!!

Also, I got a smartphone finally, so I can start taking better pics of things. I keep telling myself that it's for my job or whatever but psssh... it's for mini-photos.

Paintin' up my Gotrek after a game I had earlier where he took down a Vargulf and Terrorgueist (as a bare bones Daemon Slayer) met his doom against the Vargulf but finished it off with his deathblow... How fitting, this totally makes me wanna do a slayer list for this end times stuff, already got 20 non gw slayers (avatar of war?), so will need 45 more and some characters (gw or not it don't matter)
though the characters I will probably make sure to be GW as I really love some specific ones.

Painting up my Ulsterians (Ultron Asterians) for Deadzone. Got 5 done today, it's a super easy paint scheme-prime black, dry brush ice blue, super fine dry brush of mithril silver, red eyes and gems. Painting up the leader of the army too. The hint was given in the proper thread.

Finished gap filling my Neverborn Mature Nephilim on the weekend, and started putting paint on him last night. Hopefully I'll have time to continue that endeavour tonight.

Finishing up some woodland bases and have a diorama in the works.

When I get home I am going to clean my hobby table off since it has not been used in well over a month and has just become a box and trash depository. After that I am going to undercoat the remaining Steel Legion I have in my 1250pt list. Then I am going to finish basecoating my tanks.

Finally found a method that works and is cheap.

Just some nice strong fridge mag rolls cut up and hot glued in while on a piece of steel.

Now i have 2 buses of slaves and clanrats each. one block of 40 storm vermin

a side block of 40ish random rats and 2 rat darts

i still needa make about 40 monks. then build a 3rd DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMwheel and a HPA.

Rat darts are still a thing? Neat.

My poor HPA is still NIB minus the shrink wrap...

I have no clue if ratdarts are still a thing its what the previous owner told me to do so i decided to keep em that way.
