And do we know ANY other army comps here?

Is it all mounted army?

Except for the Yhetees and Hunters (and technically Sabreclaws). Everything else is mounted.

2 Stonehorn/Thundertusk sets
4 Mournfangs
1 Hunter
4 Frost Sabres
3 Yhetees

I'm a little less excited about GW's contests after entering that stupid "Dream Army" contest three separate times, and then them never even announcing winners. :-p

The US winners were set to be announced in August IIRC.

It is rather nice, i like they've gone away from the grey skinned ogres

They dropped the grey skin for ogres with the last WHFB Ogre Kingdoms army book which I believe was released almost five years ago in 2011.

Which explains why I was not aware as I never bought any of those books. I felt you got more in the older books even if they were not in colour.

Hmm, the 1 day rules strike me as very gimmicky and seem like the MMORPG gambits (bonus xp today, bonus drops tomorrow, etc.). Why not just add them as campaign rules period? Or make them part of scenario/terrain selection?

Because they're just a bit of fun and colour, and encourage regular interaction with GW social media?

Yeah, the bonuses haven't even been enough to swing easy wins for Chaos or Death, they're just encouraging those players to get games in and give them a minuscule edge.

The AOS open day will be a good insight into gw's preview plans going forward. I hope they adopt the forgeworld approach, but if they still refuse to talk about upcoming releases, we will know that nothing will change for the foreseeable future.

Yes, you can make a hunter on foot using some basic Bull bits. Those should be cheap because EVERYBODY has Bull bits laying around.
