Aquila and BS Tiger Soldier from a Spanish tourney

Both look amazing despite trademark blurry pics. Though I did realize quickly that they share VERY similar poses. Not a bad thing just an observation

I think they both look fantastic. Although cue the rage fist fallout.

With that out of the way, I will be getting that Aquila.

Seems like a reasonable, if slightly dramatic, walking pose. Not the most dynamic thing ever, but fairly believable. And he's certainly gonna be walking around on the field so it's not like some of the *strike a pose* poses. I like him (Aquila), but I dunno what I could really two with TWO Aquila guard on top of a Swiss Guard... seems a bit much

these are ok. They're at least walking or descending from the sky. It's ok for that free hand to be totally idle in a fist.
It's the ones standing entirely still one-handing a massive gun that shouldn't have a ragefist.

Ooh, that Aquila is a huge improvement over the current model. it looks a bit top-heavy but that seems to mostly be the coat.

Man, the panzerfaust launcher on the Aquila makes his left side look really bulky.

Why oh why does CB hate to sculpt the airborne guys with both feet on the ground? The new Tiger Soldier design is really cool looking, but they had to go and do the landing pose. I hope that when they do the Spitfire one they have him in a firing pose like the old HMG one was.

And they shall be giants among men!

Me either, I thought those were like disposable rocket launching tubes, I didn't realize they were shoulder mounted, pretty cool. Do other models have them shoulder mounted like that? The things I miss...

Hopefully it's like... gas powered or something, I'd hate to have a combustion powered weapon right next to my face, though I guess he does have a high tech helmet..

All the PanO panzerfaust are shoulder mounted, look at the magister knights

Yeah its something I totally missed, I guess probably partially due to only having a passing interest in Pan-O after expanding Icestorm. Pretty neat little bit though.

By the looks of it a little trimming your could have him running on the ground. if we had other angels we could see how' he is tilted from his profile. I wonder if they will do a SWC box with Hacker, Spitfire, Sniper, and Combi-Flamer? Either way the hacker should be a more "feminine" sculpt as there really is only one other decent female hacker sculpt for Yu Jing. That or get a Spec Ops and take the Spitfire from that and splice them together.

I've always thought that was even sillier. Ragefist is justifiable if the soldier is bracing from a one-hand shooting stance. Heavy Infantry with their power armor could probably take it. However, holding a knife while doing so is just irresponsible.

At least the Bagh-Mari somewhat are justified because of their fluff. I guess some Haqqislamites too because they love their Future Scimachetars.

I wasn't saying it would be unwarranted (that's why I chose 'fallout' and not 'complaining'). My one issue with them is that their poses are almost identical, although you'll never have both in the same force so it doesn't really matter that much, and the fist is part of that. All I meant, I wasn't 'trying' anything.

Hopefully there will be some higher quality pics out soon, although they do certainly look promising.

Looking like that's probably going to be a good step up from the existing, first edition-era miniature.

Someone over on the Infinity forum pointed out that this new guy combined with the arms from an ORC Trooper out of the PanO starter will be a great way to get a MULTI Rifle Aquila Guard.

I really chose the right time to get in to Infinity! Though my wallet aches at the thought of future purchases.

It's not really a preview, it's a teaser. Pretty useless yeah but it's not like it's hurting anyone.

Except that they're usually damn near 100% useless in every way - all they really seem to do is generate a lot of posts complaining about how useless they are.
