Im using the bleached bone as more of a basecoat as im not sure how a wash over a wash would react, probly just the same as normal.
The reason for the soon to be test models(I hope, whenever
GW manage to stock them) is clearly to abolish any of the doubt i have with the colours.
Take the above pic for example,
Obviously the white is going to be bleached bone with the appropriate wash.
The carapace however im goin to do a tad different (Only for testing purposes though, unless i like the look) I am goin to alternate the 4 colours to see what looks best
E.G For scheme 1, 1 part of the carapace will be purple, next part will be green, next part will be yellow and the last part will be orange.
I will not replicate that scheme fully if i like the idea, a max of 2 colours will be used IF they look good with the bleached bone and the wash.
E.g Flesh - Bleached Bone with Asrumen Blue wash with carapace alternating with purple and yellow.
Just an idea so we shall see when i get the models and paints.
