So I finally started a empire army . This will just be updates of my progress through building it up to about 4,000 pts.
C&C is welcomed
So my army is based off the Wissenland army in the empire

this is my first regiment of sword men
Ill get a updated of them painted ASAP



as you can see the musician has greenstuff on his arms from being reposition so it looks like his drumming

Looking forward to some paint on these guys, I always considered Wissenland a difficult army scheme to do well as the grey and white are so subtle. (also as a fairly poor province, the white and grey should be a little shabby I think, Countess Emmanuelle does not pay much attention to her province, spending all her time in Nuln instead).

I'm curious to see how you do this.

Thanks, I was thinking of this army being closer to Nuln so that they are a little better supplied (aka handguns, steam tanks, & cannons) then most troops in Wissenland army's

as for painting I was going for a gray and light brownish white with a dark red here and there

the test model is almost done so I'll get some pics up as soon as I'm done

very nice paint work, the colors you chose go together well!

Why are cloth sleeves silvery armor color?

It's Codex gray so it shouldn't look like armor maybe it's just the light reflecting

It doesn't look like armor in person which is more important

Any one know what the paint scheme for the Order of the broken sword is ??

Sorry for not updating in a long time. I've been vary sick the last few weeks but I was able to get my hands on a old Empire battalion box and was able to put it together
I'm thinking of getting the new battalion box to fill out the army as well.

I'll just have to see if I can get some time to paint
