Some ogf you may remember my previous post were I submitted a link to Grey Matter Musings (http://www.gmmstudios.com/for-sale.php) I had spoken to the owner in regards to hiring for a commission job on my new 40k Space Wolfs & so on.... Long story short, there was this cool army that stood out. So as "luck" may have it I was able to track down the new owner & he informed me that he was looking to sell them so I made him an offer & he agreed!

That is a one of its kind army indeed. I'm rather lost for words.

The purple is nice, but the rest of the bling makes it look like some celebriskank has put her Ho-jo on it, and marked it with her own personal tramp stamp.

That and there's probably references to some kind of hideous 4chan level deviations, which alone would guarantee I would buy it just to burn it.

Pretty marines.

They're extremely well painted, but they lack grimdark. In the grim, dark, grim darkness of the grimdark millenium, there is only grim. And dark. And power weapons.

Purple space marines?? I dunn whether to laugh or burn em...

Positives:

Extrememly well painted with some awesome freehand.
Glad it wasnt the actualy Chaos Space Marines otherwise i may have died.

Love it. Love the humor, love the paintwork, love the freehand. What's wrong with purple marines? Even marines need a little luving sometimes. Or are those parts removed?

Oh the Pretty Marines Chapter did exist ..... They got lost ..... In the Warp..... in Slaanesh's place.

They are actually very good models and I like the painting too, but you should try to make some of them more badass spikes on the hearts perhaps? Or maybe blue flames. But the point is to spice them up a bit.

They are perfect.

Very well painted, coherent colour scheme and insignia.

someone else's army been showed off in P&M ( especially im a fan of him that followed his original Pretty Marine thread )
