Shoota Boyz (ork boyz with shootas), a squad of 20 shoota boyz can shoot 40 shots at something 18" away. An ork players strength is always in number, never in specialization. So never deck out one thing, it will get killed. Just get a lot of everything. More Dakka, More Boyz, More Winning. (and Nob Bikers are really good but pricey)

Beyond something generic like "take a KFF Mek as your first HQ, then think about a War Boss" and "Sluggas in vehicles, Shootas on foot" I'm going to need a little more than just "I can has 1500 pt Ork list, please?" to give you a decent list.
