I've read through just about all of the spells, and they are all pretty clear to me. However, I noticed something that I wasn't so sure about concerning the spell "Enchanted Blades of Aiban".

The spell gives a +1 bonus to hitting in Shooting and in CC. Obviously, in the Shooting phase, this is a pretty obvious bonus, where hitting on a 2+ isn't uncommon. However, in CC, where the best roll possible (normally) to hit is on a 3+, this is where my question comes in.

Could the spell effectively allow me to hit on a 2+? Or would it just effectively raise my WS by 1 (which could have different effects in the CC, obviously).

The +1 bonus is just that. Whatever rolls you make to hit, add 1 to them and now determine your hits.

So yes, that means you could indeed hit on 2's provided your WS was higher than the model you were attacking.

Yup it reduces it up to a minimum of 2+.
