Parry save says only with a hand weapon. Goblins have hand weapons but orcs have choppas, witch during a debate at work maybe considered a special weapon. My co-worker said it acts like a hand weapon but sence it has its own 'special rules' the +1S in the first round of combat. My orc would NOT get the parry save. The mention of it working like a hand weapon is to alow it to work with a shield. Much like a morning star.

Is he right or am I right for saying sence its acts like a hand weapon I do get the perry save.

Look at the entry for Choppas

"Choppas are hand weapons in all respects" Pg.18

If they were maces/morning stars then GW would have just said they were maces/morning stars
