Hah, well if they look at all like your latest DC... that'll be a nice little army Been trying to get over a brief funk. I just finished a couple of units and got intrigued by a new game but probably won't really play anything till the new year. Think I'm gonna bust out a few Infinity minis I've had primed for awhile.

They are done like the DC, but significantly more weathered and *shock horror* actually based! But the fact I have knocked out a full Tactical Squad in an evening from primer to done is a testament to just how great that black tutorial I linked was! I shall have to have a good look at the other goodies on that channel at some point.
I honestly have no idea where the army is going, though. I know I want a good number of Scouts in troops (possibly in LSS) and Shrike with some LC Vanguard (crazy expensive, but oh-so-fluffy!) but beyond that, they may just become my 'between other projects' army.
And yeah, paint some Infinity, it should be a nice change of pace from MA I imagine.

I've been painting everything pretty much the same lately. Infinity minis come out a little better thanks to the extra details and sharp edges. I'm doing a couple of moderators and a Sin Eater right now.
I may someday do a shrike+VGV just because of how cool they are.

You simply must find an opponent that plays empire (or hell I'll buy bretonians for it) and get them a matching priest with swords dude.

To be fair I hadn't planned on getting Ivy in the shot, especially not her as the focus and Alucard not as the focus...
But as they say, sometimes a doll just wants to watch the world burn...

Honestly, since the ruling is that the doors don't count for measuring anyway... Although I think it could be nitpicked that one would normally be able to draw LoS through them, unless you can't do that either normally.
Wouldn't be a big deal for me, and they're neat (and cheap ).

Are those 'jetbikes' ? Interesting take. Exodites are the Eldar who moved away as opposed to doing soul stones or webway right? Like they were already on the fringe?
Still needs to be sealed and based but this'll give you the idea of how I spent a couple of hours tonight:
I may just have to quickly finish assembling my other moderators and do them while I'm on a roll.

Pretty much. They saw the way it was going and decided to live lives of hardship and struggle in order to avoid the temptations of their advanced society. Kind of like elven Amish. And yeah, they're going to be Jetbikes. Once I put a rubber band around the edge of the base, it'll be exactly the same size as a flight base.

Doesn't really matter much, although a significant number of people believe you should play as if the doors were open (and allow models to shoot through it) even if the model itself is glued shut.

Today I have decided I really, really need to strip my Pike 6 shot models, and repaint them. They deserve a much better paintjob than I gave them when I built the army. Although I dread repainting some 200+ pikemen, musketeres and such

Sorry for bad picture, but I have finally covered a 6x4 board with grass matting... I have had the board at least 2 years... Longer actually!
Still need to slice and glue a big air bubble or 2 and tidy the edges. Hopefully with use, damage and repair it will become rather nicely weathered haha.
