Hey Dakka, Jevrian here with another army list.

HQ: CCS-Commander w/Plasma Pistol-4x Plasma Guns-Chimera-Heavy Flamer-175
Troops: 10x Veteran Squad-3x Melta-Vendetta-230
Troops: 10x Veteran Squad-3x Melta-Vendetta-230
Heavy: 1x Leman Russ Battle Tank-Battlecannon-3x Heavy Bolters-170
Heavy: 1x Leman Russ Battle Tank-Battlecannon-3x Heavy Bolters-170
Total: 995

Basicly, the Vendettas and Veterans pop tanks while the Leman Russes shoot at the troops coming out of them. It is a simple but effective tactic. Any thoughts?

This list looks pretty solid to me, except your tanks will be left exposed without either a vet squad or platoon to provide a cover save for them. with the lumbering behemoth rule, those bad boys can move just as fast as any units on foot and still rock the house with their guns. for more mobile fire power, also consider a heavy stubber instead of the bolter.

It's light on troops, but you can sort of get away with that at low points levels.

Beware, though, that you bring few units to the field. The loss of anything hastens your loss of everything.
