anyone know the exact contents of this? A comic shop near my dad's house has one but I can't remember what is in it.

Have him take a photo of the cover or something. It usually shows all contents in it.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

IIRC 19 orc boyz, 10 wolf riders, boar chariot and 12 plastic orc archers. Only place to get reasonably priced orc archers

If I recall right, most of the models in there were single-piece plastics (well, entire body, legs, and arms with a head separate from that). There were a lot more Arrer Boyz than 12, though, at least 16 if not 18 or 20. And you forgot the Boar-mounted Big Boss Makenshi, for shame.

that was the battalion, which they also have. The army box has the multi piece models and the limited ed. BSB.

Wouldn't that be the 7th Edition Box, then? I might have missed a minor transition, but I could have sworn that the 6th Edition was the one with single-piece, and it wasn't until 7th they gave multi-parts?

I went and looked at it again today.

The 6th edition ARMY box wasn't the boxed game. The 6th edition boxed game had the empire and orc battalions in it, which is where the 1 piece models you are referring to came from. That had 19 archers, 19 warriors, a chariot and a commander on a boar.

The 6th edition orc and goblin army box included:
Grimgor Ironhide
Limited ed. BSB
40 or 60 goblins(can't remember)
10 wolf riders
19 orc warriors(multipart kit)
3 fanatics
1 rock lobba
1 doom diver
And possibly a chariot.

Turns out it has too many goblins and not enough orcs for my taste so I'll end up not getting it. They do have a 6th edition battalion with the single piece orcs that I'll get for the archers as none of those models will go to waste.

Island of Nunya, Nunya business!

you could probably hock those goblins pretty easily. lots of people like Goblin armies.

That limited edition BSB and increasing your army would be worth it.

I been Playing GKs since their Force Weapons bypassed EW, everyone was WS5, Stormshields ONLY worked in CC, and Justicars cost 50 fricking points each!!! Don't you accuse me of Cheese! I waited for this Cheese and if i am not going to use it against you. Why I aught to shove it in the heater grates and turn the Thermostat up to 70 degrees. CELSIUS! TAKE THAT

After looking at it again this last weekend I decided to pass. Just too many goblins not enough orcs.

I can always find the BSB secondhand if I really want it, and it's not as nice as the other army BSB's that were around at the time.
