How many Ushabi do you have? Those are pretty much the only thing that can stand up to ogres.

As I said in the other thread, Catapult and archers can get the job done.

I don't think catapults will do too much. Might scare some.
Ushbati lose badly on a cost basis to Ogres. Really bad. No one does Ogres better than Ogres.
-You can get chariots to avoid stomp and get some impact hits.
-But what I really like is getting the Queen as your leader. And archers. All become poisoned. But I doubt you can afford that point-wise.
-Tomb Guards with a Standard of Summoning. Killing Blow and shield and adding back units at the start of each turn. Awesome killy tarpit.

But the Ushbati are wounding Ogres on 2s and striking before them.

Ogres laugh at killing blow.

Scorpion swarms for core and Ubshati.
Yeah, point for point ogres out mass ubshati, but combat for combat, ubshati will carve through ogres and keep on moving.
You can't get a useful king at 750, so go with swarms; they will do more damage before they go down than your other core options.
The real problem is where to put the heirophant.
At 750, I'd stick him on a horse, or give him flying, and hide.
Ogre shooting is very limited, and they lack other fliers or fast cav to go chase you down.
750 is a really tough point value for characters for both armies, as neither has access to cheap options.

In general, Ogres have a massive advantage at low point values exceot against super shooty armies.
a Typical ogre army at 750 will have a bruiser as the general. a couple units of 6ish bulls. and possably some Gnoblars.
since you can't get Khalida until 1600ish you really shouldn't go the shooty route. you will be hitting on 5s and wounding on 5s. not good odds.
use some Spear Skellies to pin ogre units in place while the Ubshati go for a flank. just watch out for the Bruiser. he will quite likely have a GW, possably a 5+ ward, and is likely T6. meaning you wound on 4+.
the Bruiser will stand up to the Ubshati and likely put them down.
don't let his ogres multi-charge your Ubshati. you won't win, he has more wounds then you and is rocking a -2 to your armor.
if you lose your Ubshati your Skellies won't stand a chance against the surviving ogres.

Ushbati still got to hit. And it's a 3+ vs. a 4+ there. And they cost almost twice as much and are a special unit. Their rolls aren't 30pts better against a 35pt model. Ironguts wound the same, though are -1 to hit and still attack slower. But they are about 50% cheaper and all of them get charge/bull charge. I just don't see them pulling off a win vs. either. And both ogres are far more upgradeable (shield, extra weapon, lookout gnoblar, command), and they got the cost differential to be able to afford it.
Yeah, I forgot that KB doesn't work on MI.

You're basically fighting a monstrous army. At low points, as someone said, that's a tough thing to beat. TKs don't have "real" magic either. So you can't just zap 'em.
New book coming in some months. So who knows what will be in it.

I would go scorps. Use units of spearmen to pin the ogres in place and have the scorps hit em from the back.

I can tell you that Scorpions don't work very well.
I never lose more then 1 ogre before the Scorpion gets a beat down.
