Well I got zero feedback on my 2000pt list. I don't know if it scales up to 2500 well or not.

100 Rune Priest w/PA/storm/hurricane

645 3x10 man GH squad w/2xmelta/MoW/standard/Rhino
300 2x5 man GH squad w/flamer/Razorback w-tl plas/las

195 5 man WG squad w/4xcombi-melta/term w-cml/Razorback
580 2x10 man WG squad w/term w-cml/term w-cml/chain fist

270 3 Land Speeders w/tml/hb

420 3x6 man LF squad w/5ml's

Total 2500pts

100 Rune Priest with power armor/tempest storm/murderous hurricane

645 3x 10 man grey hunter squads with 2 meltas/mark of the wulfen/standard/rhino
300 2x 5 man grey hunter squads with flamer/razorback with twin-linked plasma/lascannon

195 1x 5 man wolf guard squad with 4 combi-meltas/1 terminator with cyclone missile launcher/razorback with twin-linked heavy bolter
580 2x 10 man wolf guard squads with 8 bolt pistol/ccw/1 terminator with cyclone missile launcher/1 terminator with cyclone missile launcher/chain fist

270 3 land speeders with typhoon missile launcher/heavy bolter

420 3x 6 man long fang squads with 5 missile launchers each.

Rune Priest hangs back in on of the las/plas razorbacks to provide 5+ cover for vehicles. The wolf guard squads can bubble wrap the long fang squads or advance. Long fang squads are fire base. The melta grey hunter squads line up vs heavy armor or simply go do what grey hunter squads do.

It's an all comers list.

I feel like you're wasting over 400 points for 4 more missiles per turn.

If you're going to put anything else in there, make it small Wolf Guard packs with Razorbacks. ML will only get you so far.

Really though, you don't have anything other than throwing units out there for blocking. I would recommend Dreadnoughts to fill in with PC/HF for hordes and dealing with FNP goodness as well as the overabundance of 2+ armor coming soon.

Even with 5+ saves I don't think the dreads are going to last very long. I will take a look at doing something else as your insight has merit.

I just need something that will do a good job of bubble wrapping my long fangs so they are not so susceptible to assault.

Also, I don't think that dreads will be able to provide enough protection for the long fangs.

I suppose I could go with a couple of WG squads with combi's and razorbacks, but those will get quite expensive pretty fast.
