Now please before this approaches any deabate of validity...as I know it's a Beta Pdf...I was simply wondering what people think of this list given what we currently "know" of the GKs to be...

HQ
Librarian with Mind Blades, Sanctuary, Warp Rift, The Summoning, Teleport Homer
Librarian with Mind Blades, Sanctuary, Warp Rift, The Summoning, Teleport Homer

(Mind blades reduces T by 1 for the turn...does allow instant death...)
(Sanctuary, enemy assaulting units within 12" go through difficult and dangerous)
(Warp Rift-Template, I-Test or the model is removed from the table, automatic Pen on vehicles)
(Summoning brings one none vehicle unit on the board that is not in assault to you during the movement phase via deepstrike rule)

TROOP

-Justicar
-Incinerator, Halberd
-Incinerator, Hammer
-2 Warding Staves (2+ Invulnerable save)
-Halberd (+1 Intitiative)

(Psycannon is S7 AP 4 36" Assault 2, Heavy 4...doesn't need LoS given psychic test...if psychic power is used the oppoent gets a 4+ cover save that cannot be altered)

Was going to make a 2000 point list but I got this far and it was pretty much on the 1850 mark so I left it.

Was very tempted to drop Librarians for Inquisitors that give Stubborn.

I'm not huge on Mind Blades, its only conditionally better then Hammerhand, and while on those occasions its quite solid (insta-killing certain IC's comes to mind) it competes with Might of Titan which allows for utter devastation to a vehicle (20 Str 6/7 attacks rolling 2d6 armour pen is pretty brutal), and still gives you that boost to your killing power. Might I suggest sporting one libby with each?

Other then that, I think its pretty solid, though those Purgation squads seem vulnerable.

Well here's the beauty of mind blades...you have T4 MEQ or what have you?...down to T3...Psycannon overkill...laugh maniacally...

The Psycannons are kind of vulnerable...but then again...there will be 2 to 4 squads of Terminators around the board.

This list seems to do exactly as it was written to do. And well composed. I have no suggestions. But doesn't the fear of plasma eating you alive frighten you a little bit? In a afoot list with only 37, will 2 warding staves be enough for the termies? I just worry about them, maybe its unjustifed as there are 20.

Who knows, it could be quite good if the purgation squads are behind a nice, thick wall

The problem is that Mind Blades can only be used at the beginning of the assault phase and only lasts till the end of that phase (obviously, as written now...) so you can't do that wonderful trick. You can do something similar with Nemesis Force Daemonhammer and Hammerhands for Str 6 attacks in CC vs T4. That was the one real use I saw (or heck, turning Eldar or Humans to T2 and instakilling them with normal GK attacks ).

Ah yes...and if you can get it off near Nids...goodbye gants...I play Tyranids so I I know how FnP dependent that army is.
