My local game store is running a random 1k tournament next month and this is the list I am thinking about taking. Very simple list, spam 4 Razorbacks, 1 RP (one of my favorite HQs), 1 unit of LFs for good measure, then a speeder just because i had 70 points let over.

I would tool up the rune priest some more. mebey drop a hunter or two and give him something else.

runic armor, swap a hunters razorback for rhino and whack him in it? more assaulty?

unless hes gonna sit back with the long fangs.
if so, i would be nervous about so much firepower in one squad. could turn into a great big bullet magnet.
but if you are going to, i'd give him the chooser of the slain. its *rummages for codex* 10 pts for +1 bs. I've found its good with LL.



but i play HQ heavy, so that's just me.

Being a 1k list I thought it best to only run 1 cheap but still effective HQ. The priest will be running with the 5 man razorback unit, so I have him set up for short range.

So dose this list suck or something? LOL I would really to know if a mini razorback spam would even work at such a low point level?

IMO, its a decent list. you shouldn't be worried about anything stuffing up too badly. ive never used razor back spam, but it should work.
but that being said, i would gear up the runie. many times i have seen my expensive HQ unit killed by a hail of bolter fire. for only 20pts you can make them a lot more resistant (ie runic armor).

if its close combat your looking for, the wolf tooth necklaces can be useful. if you remove 2 hunters to pay for the runic, the other ten pts could go here...


but, remember, that's just me.
