Jon over at Khurasan is a wonderful client of mine, so I felt it only fair to give him a pimp.
All the best,

Nice. That looks like a CG render.
What are the dimensions of the model? Automatically Appended Next Post: Khurasan have some nice items there. It could be time to reactivate my 15mm SF collection.

Indeed it is a CG, here is a pic of the model.
I had to go back to my CAD files for the size... 96mm long and 60mm wide, its a big boy for a 15mm

It's pretty nice, but I find it looks a bit too much like a modern Abrams to me to scream 'hover tank'... Maybe a little heavier on the Sci-fi next time?
Best of luck with it though!

It took me 5 seconds to actually see it was a hoover tank.
Very boring model IMO.

The render looks cool, but the pics of the model look NOTHING like a hover tank from the angles you're showing it. Are you sure that's the right model? There are a bunch of little differences between it and the render.

The painted model is the tracked version, Jon has not posted pics of the tank with the anti-grav units replacing the tracks....

May not be...Im pretty sure I see tracks in the pic, at the from of the tank.
Maybe the CAD is a hover version of that tank.

Ive been waiting for several months fort hem to release the mechanoid Dictator model. Sadly now it seems my hobby budget for the near future is spent, as far as larger purchases go. What $$ I have left is waiting for DreamForge to open preorders for the leviathans.

The desert scheme makes it look like a modern AFV. Give it a nice "sci-fi" job and it will start looking a bit more skiffy. Some sort of brightly coloured digital scheme maybe?
That and it is without context. An Challenger 2 accompanied by a squad of Starship Troopers tends to look quite futuristic even if it is in a desert scheme, if you have it rolling past stacked crystal rock-spires.

"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious—makes you so sick at heart—that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all" Mario Savio |

So it's one model which comes either as a normal tracked tank or as an antigrav version (minus the tracks and plus hovery thingies)? Productionwise, that makes a lot of sense, but the downside is that the ant-grav version looks a bit too much like 'I glued some bits under my tank to make it hover'. Personally I'd prefer the anti-grav bits to change the shape of the tank hull a little more - e.g. more of a hovercraft skirt look, perhaps.

Wow! That's almost as large as some 40K models. Maybe you should do some sketches. I reckon a number of maunfacturers would be interested in good ideas for SF vehicles.

Form follows function.
This is one of my favorite grav tank designs outside of the Renegade Legion classics.
