Please could someone tell me how to convert the Glaive Encarmine's of the Blood Angels into a different chapter, (e.g Salamanders)?

Any other tips like painting and modeling ideas would be good, because I'm thinking of converting a Salamanders Captain from various bits?
Any ideas for the Captain would be appreciated to.

Thanks in advance

I was planning on using some of the Sanguinary Guard's weapons for a couple of my not yet finished kitbashed Librarians (also Salamanders btw), but I'll probably use some leftover (power) weapons from the upcoming Grey Knights kit instead.

There's actually a few of the sword looking glaives that have nothing aside from just the 'angel wing' motif on them.

They look generic enough that they'd work as a 'force weapon' for anyone really.

Yes I know, there is two useful ones + one of the axes. The other arms have bolters attached, which I want to avoid (although I guess it isn't that hard to remove them).

Some of the GK arms have bolters attached too of course, but they seem to have quite a lot of one-handed weapon options on the sprue. I'll just wait until I have the GK and see which option I like best. I bet the warding stave looks good on a Librarian as well.

Moving thread to Painting & Modelling.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
