Might be worthwhile for heavy but relatively rare spraying projects. If you'll be spraying often or you already have access to an air tank/compressor, a traditional spray gun or airbrush will be a much better deal, as you won't have to constantly buy more propellant cans. Not to mention the fact that either one will give you a more consistent, controlled, and adjustable spray, which will be key if you'd ever use the thing for even moderately detailed work.
