DaMaGe - Thanks! Not quire crotch lights think a little higher.
Arglebooster - Thanks!
Brother Bartius - Thanks! I'm thinking of writing a battle report for a webzine since even black gobbo has gone south.
Greebynog - Thanks! The cockpit will be plenty light up fron the dashboard. The far left light is VERY bright.
CrimsonFist - Thanks! Ii'm working on cleaning off my dining room table so I can get photos of my armies and all the super heavies I have.
Bartholomew001 - Thanks! The first post was on 11/19/2007 so about 7 months so far.
migsula - Thanks migs! I'd love to give you one but I'm sure GW is watching this thread like a hawk to make sure I don't

A bit Off-topic, but:

AMEN to that brother. I used to love Black Gobbo as the final remaining shred of hobbyist information, but it too has withered into little more than ads for new releases and some sprue frame pictures.
back OT: well, they still look great! I'm looking forward to all the electronic insanity that will occur when you flip the first light switch.

Well you are scratchbuilding rather than bootlegging. As every titan is intended for your personal collection, and so long as you dont batch any more, once you have used them you could put on or two up for sale as 'used' scratchbuilt titans from your personal collection.
I dont see how they could stop you and I have long wondered if this is what you intended to do from the start. It has raised tempting possibilities to myself and maybe others as its probably not a lot extra work to scratchbuild four titans simultaneously than it is to scratchbuild one.

drunkorc - I'm thinking about building a pair of reavers using the forgeworld epic model as the basis for the design. I've never really liked the mars pattern slopy armor.
Waaagh_Gonads - Thanks! We've kind of had to stop working on them because my FLGS has hired us to do a railroad and rework all of their scenery. So updates will become much more sporadic.
Orlanth - Thanks for the compliment, but I really don't want to go through the hassle of dealing with GW's legal team even i its legal.
Four was actually them magic number. If you build 1 its simple and everyone's done it. build 2 and its alot of work, 3 isn't worth resining, and 4 is just right. Actually the only things we had to build were a set of masters (which were reproduced for the 4) and then the 4 bodies and waists. Also warhounds usually run in pairs, and since I already had a warlord the next step was 2 battle groups of warhounds.

It has taken me from 12:15-1:25 to read through this entire thread and only one phrase comes to my mind: Freakin' Sweet!!!!
FodaBett: I wish I honestly could put into words my admiration and appreciation for what are accomplishing. Nothing but absolute praise for something that obviously is taking a large chunk of your free time to complete. If someone want to call me a brown noser, then they are obviously blind as to what is going on in this thread.
Keep up the good work!

Better than buying from forgeworld though.
It would cost you about $2000 to buy all those Warhounds!

While I normally just lurk on forums, this project is too amazing to stay silent on. Its so inspiring to see the thought and detail that goes into each piece without losing sight of what your overall goal is. I find I have a had time not getting sidetracked with one of the larger GW kits, so well done for keeping this monster going!
One thing that I really like about your titans is that its being designed with the idea that the arms and legs etc actually have to move. Finding the balance between making something look awesome while still having it functional is something that GW stuff sometimes struggles with. For example, the Land Raider looks best to me with the sponsons at the back and the door in front, which leaves you with the sill situation of having your Terminators walk out into the fire path of the Lascannons.
Keep up the good work, its really inspiring to me!

tkdarktrooper - Thanks!
Bartholomew001 - Thanks! That's the main reason I didn't want to buy the titans.
Delemon - Thanks! GW definitely goes more for the looks cool over the functionality. I run into the same problems with baneblades, the cooler version is mounting the sponson on the back, but you end up sacrificing 7 or so inches of range.
I have recently received another PM about titan sales.
I'd like to ask everyone to PLEASE stop PMing me and asking for titans. I don't mean to sound rude but I do not want to go through the hassle of selling titans be it 1 or 100.

You aren't being rude, the countless people constantly asking you to consider manufacturing these, or selling molds/molded parts/DIY Titan Kits, etc are the ones being rude.
I'm fairly certain you stated on the first page of this thread that these were a personal project and never intended to be for sale.
Personally it makes me a little sad to see all these people asking you to sell them. My first thought is "why don't they build their own?" sure they might not have access to the tools foda has, but that doesn't mean they couldn't build one.
Personally as I have stated before this thread made me desire to actually attempt to scratch build something! Your work is inspirational for me. It allows me to see what can be done with the right tools, materials, and a little creative thinking. My favorite part of this thread has been to see how you take oridinary objects and transform them into something else.
I'm working on an Ork Pulsa Rokkit at the moment and it's coming along alright, i'm learning alot about using sheet styrene, gluing non metal/plastic materials, etc so even if i don't like the model i'll still consider it a mostly successful project.
I hope to build a stompa next, I just wish I had some plans to go off of. Anyone know where I can get some? Mostly i've just been looking at other stompas on the 'net and looking at the drawing of the one in the Apocalypse Book.

You're not rude at all Foda.
In fact as much as I can agree with those that would like one of your babies.
I can also understand that this is a project that you have put together to fulfill you're own needs and desires (no sexual references intended - but 5 in a bed and the big one said - yeeha) sorry for that but that's how I feel.
So lay off folks, this is Foda's personal project and I thank him for sharing it with the rest of us.
It should inspire you to build your own not buy someone else's labour.
Just MOHO.

Foda-Bett, this is a truly inspirational thread, thank you very much for taking the time to post it for us all to read, and for continually updating it with such great eye candy! There are quite a few threads now with various people building titans - many are simply superb - but it's really interesting to see somebody taking a fresh approach to their building method.
Does your work have something to do with manufacturing stuff? Or your Dad's job? The reason I'm asking is that I would have no idea where to start with moulding (probably the same as many envious readers of this thread) even though I understand the theory of "make thing to take moulds of, make mould, cast stuff".
Also, please promise us that you will post a photo, when they are all finished, on a table, with an impressive army around them.
Keep going - I'm sure there are many many people, like myself, who want to see the finished titans, lights and all!

Lagduf - Thanks, I can't wait to see your pulsa rocket.
Brother Bartius - Thanks. I can't wait to see what y'all come up with to top the titans.
Bartholomew001 -
InyokaMadoda - Thanks! Actually my father is unemployed at the moment but his last job was software development, my current job is at the local FLGS selling GW stuff, so neither of us have a background in manufacturing. My father has been building plastic models for over 50 years, and I've been in it for 20 so that's mainly where our background helps us.
Making molds are actually just about as difffult as "make thing to take moulds of, make mould, cast stuff." I'm currently writing a dakka article on mold making and the hardest part is actually explaining how to build the vacume chamber and pressure pot, without those 2 items you can still make resin molds but they woun't be as air bubble free.
I'll deffinatly post some pictures of them when they're finished with my Guard "not impressive" around them but thats still way off. I'm hosting a mega battle on the 7th of June and I hope we have an odd number of players so I can use my unpainted titans.

2 questions.
1) When do you think you might have one (or more) of these bad boys painted? Everyone is drooling at the chance to see one in full glory (although I guess you want to do the lights first huh?)
2) Once you start playing with them, I'd like to see a running tally in your sig for how many opponents you've burned the Imperial Eagle into the retnas of with that flash gun you got. Think you could work that out?

I am wondering, FodaBett, if you are going to be doing any other Titans [Imperator]? I mean, you have the skill. No matter, a true master of the hobby sets before our very eyes and his name is FodaBett.

Phoenix - 1) I'd like to have them done by Christmas but I don't really know it happens as it happens.
2) I'll deffinately try. I've already blinded a few of my friends, my father, and myself.
tkdarktrooper - As legoburner said I'm gonna try for some Reavers later but that may be a long while yet. I've said I really can't do the imperator justice as my game room ceiling is only 10 feet tall and to make the imperator to scale it would be 14 feet.
legoburner - LOL Thanks!

Well you've all been quiet waiting for the mega game debut of the titans so here it is.
We had 20 people playing 80,000 points (10 people on each side with 40,000 points) so much fun was had by all.
My teammates didn't want me deploying on the middle board so I decided to take the left flank via a bridge. The only downside is the lead titan took enough fire to be stuck there for my turn 2 and held up the line, then the titan was destroyed in the opponents turn 2, the back titan was destroyed on turn 3.

Seriously awsome. i loved the photos, and though i know what a 'ead ache it would write, a battle rep would be amazing.
one of the biggest and best projects ever pulled off. "we're not worthy, we're not worthy..." much bowing and chanting while sacrificing lots of nubile virgins, followed by the sound of all ye worthy dakkaites picking their jaws up off of the floor.
In a single word, unfrickin believable. you should be immortalized in bronze somewhere like the U.N building or the Cistine chapel or something.
awsome.

We had a 12000point(6k a side) Apo game, my Warhound and a Stompa were the only super heavies...

sennacherib - lol, thanks! I'd love to write a batrep but I didn't take any notes during the game. I put what I could remember on the captions for the pictures.
sleazy - 3 of the 4 Revenants were built from Evangelion models. The only thing on the tables I had anything to do with was the 4 Warhounds, and I built some of the cities of death buildings.
Azmodai - Sounds cool! Do you have any pictures?
Destrado - Yeah I saw the idea on a site somewhere so I told the eldar guys about it, next thing you know there are 3 of them running around.
Here's some more pictures from one of the gamers:

I think that would be a pretty bad business plan, as soon as the GW legal team got wind of it.
