Knight models have said the brotherhood set isn't a starter and will NOT include a rulebook. So the faq they mentioned about new sets getting the updated rules was a load of crap and knight have kopped out on it. Talk about an ass move. Clearly the set is exactly like the others but its all bs.

If you were waiting for evil factions to start this game km says screw you as you still need to spend another £30 on the original starters

I have an X-team, and I look forward to adding a villain team to go with it. This came just in time to not get the Avengers starter!

Also, if they ever pull in Maverick, I can have a full Weapon X team!!

Glad to see Magneto is neutral. I don't remember if Wolverine is...trying to figure out if I could one day have a Weapon X team. I'm only one model short, currently, once this team comes out. I might actually send them a letter. I like the idea of having actual X-teams for my roster.

Wolverine is good aligned, but is available to both X-Men and Avengers.

The neutral characters currently are Magneto, Emma Frost and Gambit.

Isn't deadpool also neutral? I had to go on a business trip for the evening, so I didn't bring the character cards with me, but I'm pretty sure he is neutral as well. Also avengers usable

That seems like a wicked oversight. While I realize that gambit has his dark past, he is far less likely to be on the neutral side then Deadpool.
Whatever, I don't expect to be doing tournaments with these things for at least a few years now, depending on if they ever get off the ground anyway, so it'll most likely be friendly games. I'm sure I can talk my buddy who's getting into it with me to allow for a wolverine, sabertooth, Deadpool team up.
As I already mentioned, I'm probably going to email night models to see about a maverick many as well, since were three quarters of the way to a weapon X team. I'm probably also going to suggest cable, Archangel and psylocke, for possible X-force teams as well

Already been talked about on various knight forums and facebook about characters we'd like to see. Waste of time messaging them as they follow no pattern. I've been asking for a Cable model for over 2 years and still waiting. Now that marvel has a game they will get round to him but not anytime soon. Its clear they are focusing on the main characters from the stuff available. Further down the line no doubt they'll get to other teams like x force, new avengers etc but its a waiting game when it comes to knight, ascan example Mr freeze still has no gang in batman game.

I'm hoping cable will be in a x force box. Say cable, forge, psylocke and domino with archangel as the extra blister. That's what I hope for anyway but who knows

Uncanny X-Force is what I would buy to jump into this game. Wolverine, Psylocke, Fantomex, Archangel, Deadpool, and Deathlok.

Should help people looking to start out with Brotherhood or put a team together from singles/old releases. Haven't checked to see if it includes the scenarios, but it's a start in any case.

It includes all 3 of the scenarios. Oh and you access it by pressing "Product Data Sheet."

Not only that, but it's a pretty good resolution, so way easier to read than the pen and paper.

In other words, this is really awesome and a REALLY good thing. So much so that it's probably worth updating the thread title.

Of note, this version also includes all the FAQ clarifications and such, so is worth downloading even if you already have a copy.

Thanks for sharing. Now that the rules are readily available it'll be hard not to borrow a few of those heroclix I bought my daughter last Xmas in her superhero phase and give the game a whirl.

Flipping heck Hulkbuster and Sabertooth are HUGE.

My solo Magneto arrives in the mail today. I think I got the last damn one in the US, from CMoN's site. Can't even find the bastard on eBay. I also have the villain team, Sabertooth, Jean and White Queen on order from my game store. Oh, and an additional WQ on order to represent her in Diamond Form. Screw tokens. I play this for realz!!
One Magneto in classic colors for villain team, one in his Marvel Now white X-Men costume.
If the next two X-men released are Archangel and Psylocke, my wallet will weep, as that will cause me to buy 5 models: 2 of each of them, and a second Nightcrawler (5 man X-Force team). Wolverine and Deadpool are already done in X-F colors.

And, the Hulkbuster. - Note the alternate fists, closed fist and open fist. And note the size of its leg compared to Lady Mastermind. Or Sabertooth compared to Reverse Flash.

Why do you do a water bath? Have you had issue with release agents? Mine have seemed fine.

Better to do it and not need it than to need it and not have done it...

Fair. I had a light chip in Gambit's cloak, but I've sealed every model. Finall have a carrying case for them too. A nice and secure one with some material snagged from work!

Super jealous that you have the full Brotherhood. My game store hasn't gotten confirmation yet of a distributor, and I'm trying to give him the business for the brotherhood. However, I got my Magneto figure in, and I've sculpted his additional parts, so I'm gonna go plug a sculpt picture in the main KM thread right now.

rumblings that we will not have any releases this month...can anyone remember the latest we have had a "Monthly releases" news blurb from them?
