I Wanted to show off some pics of my collection of Imperium themed urban-industrial 40K terrain all together. I have shown off some of the individual pieces in other threads, but thought it might be nice to get some feedback on it all together set up for a game.

I have had a rather large collection of terrain bits and kits from various generations of GW terrain releases, as well as bins full of "junk" I have been meaning to turn into terrain, all amassed over the years I have been wargaming and as of late I have been trying to get a much of it as I can turned into terrain pieces instead of sitting in my terrain supply bins.

You will notice a mix of Necromunda bulkheads, the newer GW building kits, a couple generations of older GW ruin types, and a generous helping of random odds and ends used to add detail/rubble/etc.

This terrain is to be used to represent the urban-industrial sprawls of the city of Golov; which is the setting for the on-going campaign depicted in the link in my sig that y sons and I are playing.

My sons and i plan to put this stuff to good use when we continue our 40K campaign this summer.

C&C welcome...

I like it. Nice mix of tall buildings and low barricades for playability and enough shape and color variation to keep it interesting without looking too busy. Armies won't seem out of place on this table, but they won't get lost in it, either.

One question, regarding function: Do you have access inside the multi-story buildings to place troops? If not, I'd consider adding a few 2-3 story ruins and/or catwalks, just to get a bit of playable height variation.

[edit:] Looked again and I see you've tucked some in the corners. Still, I see plenty of shelving for storage, so more couldn't hurt!

Yeah, good point. I have plans to build some larger, multi-story buildings and elevated walkways for exactly the reasons you describe.

That's some really nice terrain, and I will be poaching some of your ideas. In the interests of fairness here is a link to some of my (still not finished) stuff http://s494.photobucket.com/albums/rr309/KeptinJack/City%20Fight/

Thanks for sharing, there are never enough terrain threads to take inspiration from.

Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

The board is too simple... how about some roads or pipelines?

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.
