http://privateerpress.com/important-announcement-concerning-august-new-releases

Since the release of Mk II, both WARMACHINE and HORDES have seen an explosive amount of growth that has created an unprecedented demand for these award-winning miniatures games. In response, Privateer Press has been steadily increasing production staff and facilities. However, even with these measures in place, the tremendous popularity of the games has continued to outpace our ability to produce them.

With demand continuing to remain at record levels, Privateer Press has decided to delay August releases to give both our production facility and our distribution channels time to get closer to total back order fulfillment.

Privateer Press would like to thank everyone who has helped make Mk II such an amazing success. We remain committed to producing the best entertainment experiences for discerning audiences.

Be sure to watch www.privateerpress.com for the latest news and information on upcoming releases for WARMACHINE and HORDES.

Privateer Press would like to thank everyone who has helped make Mk II such an amazing success, especially Mr. Wells and Mr. Kirby for their continuing efforts that made our expansion to the Australian market so successful

I'm just sad that this may (don't really know) lead to a delay
of the Vessel of Judgment. During my birthday month, no less!

No worries. No way will PP miss a chance to take a bunch of new stuff to Gencon and sell the hell out of it. )

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

Is it just me, or could this sentence be thanking all the new GW to PP converts?

Isn't it cool when a company engages with their audience and informs them of news - even when that news is bad.

If only some other companies were capable of showing that much respect to their customers.

They're delaying so they can see the GW release to match the products and beat GW's prices.... THAT HAS TO BE IT!

alternatively they've seen how one of the industry leaders has behaved and are considering ways to achieve this result themselves.

Yeah, that kinda sucks.

But if it means I might get my unit of Druids of Orboros for my Circle army at some point (for which I´m waiting nearly 4 months now) I´ll happily make that sacrifice for my PoM force

A company releasing information about upcoming products? What a novel concept.

I'm glad they're delaying August releases in order to catch up on current items. A month without new releases won't really kill anybody, and I'm sure many current Privateer Press players will thank PP for keeping their wallets a little more padded that month.

It hurts me!

Mik, I certainly hope so! And if our guesses are right, then I will need two, one
from the con and one from my FLGS.

It helps me though, gives my wallet time to breath, especially with an expensive July due to a vacation. And maybe my plans for other armies will happen once PP catches up on their orders!

And I can get my dang Hex Hunters.

All of my releases (that I know of) are out by July, so no effect on me.

I guess it doesn't help that I had some Hex Hunters some weeks
ago that Tom ordered for me

I'm glad they're trying to catch up- I had taken to only ordering things from websites that list it in-stock, since the FLGS that I play warmahordes at has very random and sparse stock . PP has really needed to up production, and pronto! To keep up with the high demand

So a very smart move, imho...
