We won't get confirmation either.
And ever since Space Hulk now every year we have to put up with the ridiculous idea that there's something "special and secret" coming in September. GW release history for I don't know, say forever does not support that. They did a Space Hulk re-release, it was cool, Septembers before or since had nothing like that. Just because they did Space Hulk the one time doesn't make September something "secret and special" every year from then to eternity.

Kroothawk, I saw you mention jezzails / treekin being "3 to a box" in another thread, like the Ushbati. Are these just being rolled out in the Finecast wave, or are non-single-blister models like this going to be released separately somehow?

There has been a few rumours that Space Wolves TWC will be premiered at GD in September. Has anyone heard any thing more substantive or is this just SW's fan pipe dream?

3box of treekin and jezzails on 28th may, 3box of both Ushabti 11th June, all Finecast.
Other rumours include Thunderwolves, Tyranid 2nd wave, Black Templar, Flyer supplement, Sororitas WD Codex over 2 months, etc.
Too speculative ATM to be included in the list.

The only ridiculous part about it, imo, is knowing that no matter what they say on the topic, we've can't believe them since they have proven themselves liars in this regard.

You missed the plastic Thunderhawk there.
Good work though Kroot, seems fairly believable to me. How much evidence is there that there will be a secret september thing?

Seriously, Tau are going to be out right before 6th edition? That's great, that means Tau will be updated for about 2-3 months and then 6th hits right after and they'll be trash again for another 5 years.

I dunno, all the codexes released shortly before 5th edition did fine under the new rules (Dark Angels, CSM, Orks & Daemons). It was the older codexes that got hammered by the changes (Tau, Necrons).
It was only the release of newer codexes that did Dark Angels in much more than the new edition of rules.

GW really needs to revise their codex release schedule and do a complete overhaul. Having a codex that is two editions behind is freaking ridiculous.

Just remembered something which may or may not be relevant, but whilst at Warhammet World at the beginning of the year, i spoke to a couple of the games developers. We got onto the conversation of Space Hulk and they said that they were thrilled with the success of it's release and that they almost certainly will be doing more of these 'one-shot' mystery releases in the future.
Whether that'll be at the same time every year, who knows, but I certainly think it's something that will continue.

The new Space Hulk was released as a 20th anniversary deal. Original release was 1989, new one was 2009. I think it being in the month of Sept was just because thats where it happened to fall in the years release line-up.
If people want to speculate about new re-releases of other specialist games, they might want to look up the original release dates and see when the anniversaries fall.

I keep hearing all these mixed rumours on the release of the crons and the SoBs. Not sure what to think of it. I have done much analysis and research on GW's business practice and how they operate and I can sya that the assesments I have been able derive are exactly what is being predicted.
It seems to me though that GW is been shifting to a change that will overall speed up their releases. Such ideas I have been able to gather by finding a pattern of how the differrnt codexes are released and with the new resin casting and the metals being phased out along with theu use of computers to build future sculpts I feel that we are going to see a faster production rate on new releases after the new year.
Bear in mind everyone this is an assesment not a factual statement so please don't send any hate my way if anything in here is wrong.
