@Briancj - I can only imagine the UPS/Delivery guy "knock knock, here is your brick sir." "what the heck, I didn't order a Br..." Smack.

@Mad - Perhaps, all the lists I come up with don't feature them (to much wrong with them) so it'll be a sit and wait for an apoc game. I'm right as rain however the wee man has been coughing up a storm so is home from Daycare.

Update: almost done, some final red highlights and blue to go!

Update: The Monolith is done, this one went by very quickly, it looks Ok, not to my GK standard but happy enough for table top quality.

Update: next up is the C'tan, got most of skin done, tried my hand at some basic NMM without blending (because table top quality)

@Gits - Yeah they'e already fallen off twice since I got the model out of storage, I *think*I pinned it well, but time will tell.

@Graven - Thats what I was hoping, also tried a darker red then normal and I tried to imitate Nerd's dark reds, but I need more practise or advice I think.

Awesome work on the C'tan... brings back horrible memories for me where one of those suckers obliterated pretty much my entire tyranid army in a game back in fourth edition.

Thanks dude, I played a game with this C'tan before I painted him and while he lost a wound he did monster a group of 50 IG conscripts it was a lot of fun!

Thanks Gits, I always have to wonder if showing this process is boring to everyone, I guess the way I look at it is that this blog is to chronicle my work, not to garner hundreds of responses

Although I do like feedback such as yours or anyone else who's commented over the years.

Trick yourself by having a jelly baby every time you complete a layer or section? Its how I revise and its always worked.

I'm having the exact same problem working on a Dreadknight right now. Paint for 20 minutes... get bored... go do something else.

@Edreynaline - I like this idea, my waistline may not as I suspect with this model I'd eat one every time I put brush to pallet, I should be able to smash this one out as after this its imotec the storm lord then do all the bases then the army is all done. The end is in sight.

@Gits - haha I know your pain, I painted two of them, in bits the hard way. I don't blame you at all for getting bored!
