I just got supply dropped...

No seriously just walk away from the model and leave it as frustration will take over, I have had the same thing myself on several occasions going back to it with fresh eyes works.

Yeah I know, I just find it hard to walk away

Thanks though!

Sort of... Lol, that drop gave me the majority of the parts needed to go with the leftover ones from the Zoanthropes kit to make three Venomthropes, another 24 spore mines to take my total to 51, and two mucolid bodies to sculpt more tentacles on.

Thats not the worst of it I'm afraid. This is the list those belong to that I'm attempting to create:

HQ:
Proto-stealer: (Counts as Hive Tyrant using the spawn of Cryptus model) Lashwhip & Bonesword, Mawclaws of Thyrax, Regen, Adrenal Glands, Ymgarl factor.
Guard of the Primogenitor: (Counts as Tyrant Guard using converted Broodlord models) x3 with Lashwhip & Bonesword, Adrenal Glands.

Troops:
Mucolid Spore.
Mucolid Spore.

Fast Attack:
Meiotic Spore Brood: x6.
Meiotic Spore Brood: x6.

Heavy Support:
Sporocyst.
Sporocyst.

Formations:
Deathleapers Assassination Brood: Deathleaper, Lictor, Lictor, Lictor, Lictor, Lictor.
Sporefield: Mucolid Spore, Mucolid Spore, Mucolid Spore, Spore mines x6, Spore mines x6, Spore mines x6.
Sporefield: Mucolid Spore, Mucolid Spore, Mucolid Spore, Spore mines x6, Spore mines x6, Spore mines x6.

- The Sporefields can infiltrate.
- The Meiotic spores deepstrike before turn one, and when they blow up and not kill something, each one becomes an independent brood of D3+1 spore mines.
- Deathleapers brood minuses characters ld.
- Sporocysts can make more Spore mines, and once per game another Mucolid each.
- The Proto-stealer and Guard of the Primogenitor are my way of including genestealers without taking them as troops. Plus I wanted something more akin to a Patriarch, and the Cryptus model is as big as a Dreadnought so I'm using it as a counts as instead.

All in all, its a list dedicated to blowing the gak out of stuff whilst killing itself

Brilliant list, anyone would have a ton of fun using it. Have you had any test games yet?

Oh god no, I've nowhere near enough models for it yet tbh. I'd be lucky if I have half atm. I'm in no rush either really. Having too much fun building and converting really.

I also seem to be lucky, that once I've written a list I'm happy with on paper, that it just about nearly always works on the board. The only exception was my normal Bug list, when using a hive crone, the poor thing dies on its own too much, so I removed it in favour of two T-cytes until I buy it a friend to fly with. Other than that I've got a good track record with lists. Mainly as a gamer, I play the odds and take more risks than most I feel. As thats what I feel the game is all about really.

What I own is marked in Red

HQ:
Proto-stealer: (Counts as Hive Tyrant using the spawn of Cryptus model) Lashwhip & Bonesword, Mawclaws of Thyrax, Regen, Adrenal Glands, Ymgarl factor.
Guard of the Primogenitor: (Counts as Tyrant Guard using converted Broodlord models) x3 with Lashwhip & Bonesword, Adrenal Glands.

Troops:
Mucolid Spore.
Mucolid Spore.

Fast Attack:
Meiotic Spore Brood: x6. x3, Inc: 12 Spore mines for production.
Meiotic Spore Brood: x6.

Heavy Support:
Sporocyst.
Sporocyst.

Formations:
Deathleapers Assassination Brood: Deathleaper, Lictor, Lictor, Lictor, Lictor, Lictor.
Sporefield: Mucolid Spore, Mucolid Spore, Mucolid Spore, Spore mines x6, Spore mines x6, Spore mines x6.
Sporefield: Mucolid Spore, Mucolid Spore, Mucolid Spore, Spore mines x6, Spore mines x6, Spore mines x6.

I also need 4 Spore mines per Meiotic Spore in case I max on the dice rolls. As It stands after accounting for the Sporefields I have 15 over, which is the 3 Meitoics I own with 3 mines over. In addition I need 2 extra Mucolid for Sporocyst production, and I figure any Spore mines I produce from them will be taken from Spore mine casualties.

For a fun list, this requires SOOO much thinking about lol...

Oh I have Necrons too, but they can wait tbh. Eldar on the other hand is an obsession for me, much like my bugs, and I've been waiting for a Harlequins codex since the Citadel Journal army list in the 90's... I cannot wait. Especially as the Solitaire is back as a one man killing machine

All my lictors have those heads bar Deathleaper, as the usual Lictor heads are awful imo. I've two more to get to finish the brood off, but gw are out of stock on the website, so I'm having to wait a little longer now :-/

Leaping Lictor! plenty of GS work for those extended joints.

Meranwhile, I had done a test for a pattern I was going to use on a Tyranid army when I seriously contemplated a consuming horde force. I based it off the Leopard Shark patterns.
