I'm confused on how to set up the battle field... I know that on page 142 of the big red book it talks about it but to be honest I just don't understand it...
Anyone with insight please help.
Thanks,
RJH

You roll on a table and that tells you how many pieces of terrain and what type you need to place.

But there aint nothing stopping you from just setting up terrain in a way that looks cool and will provide a good game.

Damn I cant wait to the GW legal team codex comes out now there is a dex that will conquer all.

I never use the table, I tend to set the scenery up so it looks nice, then for fairness let my opponent choose table edge.

If you can keep your head, while all about you are losing their's, then you have probably completely misunderstood the situation!

We usually decide upon the amount of terrain, then take turns to set it up, and finally roll off to deside what board edge we begin at.

I find that 3-5 pieces is about the amount a good game needs. The amount suggested in the BRB is to my mind a joke.

I usually pic 5 or 6 pieces of terrain, place one at a time in the middle of the table, and then roll 4d6 and the scatter dice to determine where on the table it will stand.
