I found this mod during one of my thirst for non40k warhammer moments and it looks pretty spectacular:

Has anyone tried it and willing to comment on it?
Like is the balance derived from tabletop or their own interpretation?

EDIT: Wow, the whole mod is like 2gb. And they didn't bother torrenting it. Already leaving a bitter taste in me mouth. The other alternative is to download them in 6 parts from those bad fileshare websites. They couldn't be bothered to use mediafire or megaupload apparently.

EDIT2: After some bing-ing, I have found the torrent:

sarcasm/ I love how they included it on their website. /sarcasm

It has minimal English translation, isn't very stable, and the economies are not balanced well. There's far too many gigantic armies spawning via script to force frequent battles.

Overall, it's not "sandbox" enough for my tastes but it's still nice to see familiar Warhammer units slugging it out. I try to keep an eye on it for improvements but don't play it much.
