Hello All!

Here are some pics of an Eldar Craftworld Ulthwe Warwalker. The weapons are pinned to be interchangeable. I pinned the left leg to the base so that the right leg can be in mid-stride.

The highlights are various shades of Shadow Grey. The bone color is highlighted with mixes of bone and white with white as final highlights. The reds are Blood Red with orange highlights.

If you are interested I have this model up for auction now on ebay. There are more pics of this model there.

I hope you like it.
Thanks
D.

As amazingly well executed as your Black Templars. I think the use of the shadow grey to highlight is just brilliant. The bone design and soul gems are crisp and vibrant. Very well done.

Thank you for the compliments. I personally like using the Shadow grey shades. For me they seem to be a more subtle color to work with than the Codex/Fortress greys for highlighting.

A damn well done WW. I like to use Shadow/Fenris Grey as highlight for black too, find it works really good.

That is boss. Your layering is phenomenal, especially on the bone areas. Black armor doesn't do much for me, but that looks really good too. Great work.

I was wondering, what colours did you use for the bone (from bottom to the final highlight layer)? I did my Ulthwe army about 8 years ago doing washes and whatnot and I really want to update it to my current painting ability and I love how this War Walker turned out (will definitely use Shadow Grey as the high light).

Nice job. Personally, I don't like the extreme highlights that are in vogue amongst mini painters, especially not on black fields, but this figure will get a great reaction from the majority of people. (Which I recognize that I am not.) The shading on the bone areas looks great!

Bleached Bone is the base, Skull white is the highlight, Vomit Brown or Gryphonne Sepia for shading.

Mix varying amounts of bone and white to blend it all togther.
