Im wondering what is used to do this fake blood effect on this awsome model. Id like to add some to my IG vets and im starting a SM army so it would be cool for them too.

The best thing to use for blood is Tamiya clear red. Here's a tutorial on it.

That particular model will have had very thin wires (or even hair!) attached to the sword before having the TCR applied.

This was done with Tamyia Clear Red and UHU Glue, that is probably your best bet to get "stringy" blood and gore, the thin wire idea is a pain in the ass...
