I want to share some pictures of my miniatures. I start with my only actually playable army, the Crimson Templars.

Standard Battle-Brother colour scheme

Veteran colour scheme

Now to the actual models.

Tactical squad

Combat squad led by a Veteran Sergeant

Combat squad led by a Brother-Corporal

Rhino and land speeder

Lieutenant

Terminators

Scouts with some retro fashion

My marines are slightly biggerised. I think they work well enough if you assume a marine to be about seven feet tall.

Agreed- Consider me subscribed.

Did you draw the initial pictures? They look fantastic. I like the crosses on the shins and extra details.

I also like that your painting style looks JUST like the pictures. It's very unique- I really like the grit and feel of what you've done. WIP please, or just plain more!

Really beautiful work. I'm blown away by the paintjobs. You've achieved a fantastic degree of "realism" in our silly world of toy soldiers.

Great job all around. Curious though... isn't there already a space marine army called the red templars with a similar color scheme?

Yea... there are... [url]http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Red_Templars[url]

Just nowhere near as cool as Crimson's.

This is the best Space Marine paint job I've ever seen! Well, the one I like the most that is! Just something about what you did makes them all individual marines of their own right instead of just Space Marines in an army.

Very cool sir!

I like that you've done so much more than just Red painted Black Templars. Kudos on your efforts here, lots of little details. Whats left to do on them?

Yes I did. I wanted to make Index Astartes style colour scheme illos, but I did not like any of the templates I found on net, so I drew my own from scratch.

By the way, can you describe, please, how do you paint this red armour?

Oh right, this was the WIP section of the board. Here are some WIP pictures then.

Assault Marines.

I decided not to use standard assault marine chest pieces that have that strange harness. Presumably the jump packs are bolted on the armour, so no additional harness should be needed.
Also, tactical marines hold their bolters on their chests, so the breastplate is only partly visible. Assault marines are a good opportunity to display cool looking chest pieces. For this reason many of these sport breastplates from the Death Company set.

Captain of the Fourth Company

My current captain is a Lieutenant* fluff-wise, but this chap will be a proper Captain, and thus will have the best and most expensive gear available. He will be a fully kitted commander with all the bells and whistles, while the Lieutenant remains as a cheaper HQ for smaller games. I wanted the artificer armour really to look different from the normal power armour, so I used terminator legs (and lots of green stuff.)

* And yes, I know that Marines do not normally have Lieutenants, but they really should (And they did in RT era.)
Crimson Templars have two Lieutenants for each Company, allowing the Company to be spit into multiple strike forces, and still have an officer in charge.

Then some Imperial Guard

Assortment of various command personnel.

Vox Operator, Commissar, Standard Bearer, Drummer (?), Combat Surgeon (medic) and another Vox Operator.

Random IG

Penal Legion

Inquisitors

There are Coteaz and Ironhand Straken counts-as, respectively.

We'll see if any of these will ever be finished. I love converting, but painting not so much, so I have piles and piles of unfinished projects.
