I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

Not a scheme per se just some advice based on various schemes I've seen, and stuff I've read about the way they designed the cryx mini's with a paint scheme in mind:

Try and keep their base colors fairly toned down and neutral, so the glowy bits of the necrotite furnaces (the green stuff) can be bright adn contrasting color. Looks gorgeous on the table top, believe me, all the glowy bits are loacted towards the top of the model and have nice flat areas ideal for painting gradients on for a reason.

I went with Dark Angels Green as my main color. Otherwise I used alot of the colors from the Cryx paint set. I also like alot more "metal" showing than how the studio armies are painted. This allows me to paint alot of rust and corrosion.

Here is a picture of my Scaverous

Not a great picture, but you should be able to get a good idea of how my color scheme worked.

I also have seen Cryx in a dark red, almost purple. And I think one common alternate color scheme from MK I was black with gold trim.

A good color list I have found is:
Necrotite green with a snot green to highlight
Blighted gold on the brass areas
Greatcoat grey and blue ink for the rest.

I do black with gold trim for my jacks. If you use gloss varnish on the black it looks very pretty and sleek. My infantry have a worn old brass theme.

If you take a bit of imagination you can come up with some amazing schemes. A few tasters: Black and gold, old brass like Mercs, green sheen now that is hard to pull off, dark midnight blue is rather sexy if you base with an almost black, ghostly bright blue, Khornate red and gold; a 40k metaphor; looks brilliant on Heethers and Helljacks and the bright yellow chicken for Mc(donalds)thralls and chickenjacks.

Good an easy way of getting inspiration:
