Mission:
Total annhialation
Utterly destroy the enemy before turn 5-7, picked randomly using a D3. Necrons go first.
Armies:
Necrons have 1 c'tan and 20 warriors (750 points)
Space marines have 1 dreadnough, 2 tactical squads of 5 men, a terminator squad of five, a captain and a librarian (500 points)
Deployment:
The necrons appearred on the ridge, with the c'tan spearheading the front of the closely bunched necron warriors. The space marines stayed on thier drop pad, ready to fight. A 3 was rolled, so there would be 7 turns of mayhem.
Turn 1:
The necrons advanced, with the c'tan trying to make the enemy flee with it's ability but failed. The space marines held thier ground because they were out of bounds.
Turn 2: the necrons advanced and fired at the space marines, killing 2. The c'tan assaulted the dreadnought, but was wounded in the battle. The battle ended in a draw, for now. The space marines fired back, killing five but 2 came back, ready to continue the fight.
Turn 3: The necrons held their ground, firing at the space marines, only managing to kill four, leaving four left. The c'tan continued the fight with the dreadnought, but it held firm. Then, the space marines shot down five necrons, all of which failed to come back. Then, the librarians teleported him and the terminator squad into the battle. They killed five and the necrons fought back, but the terminator armour stopped all of the attacks. The tables were turning.
Turn 5: the necrons moved to batter fight off the terminators, but it was useless. The shooting phase had nothing happen so straight to the assault phase. The c'tan finally destroyed the dreadnought and consolidated towards the terminators, who had slayed ten necrons. Three necrons came back, but the necrons were beginning to lose.
Turn 6: The movement phase gave nothing, the shooting phase gave nothing, so straight to the assault phase. The warriors killed one terminator, and the C'tan killed all the rest, including the librarian. The last four space marines and the cptain fired at the last necrons, leaving 2.
Turn 7: The necrons moved towards the tactical squad and shot down 1 marine and the captain. Then, the c'tan assaulted the last 2. The first 2 attacks missed, but one killed one space marine, so it was all about the last roll of the dice. The dice rolled across the table, and it was a hit. Then, the damage dice was rolled... and victory came to the necrons.
Story end:
The necrons grabbed what they came for and soon vanished into the gloom. The ship landed but the space marines were dead, and the information with them.

Agree with others pictures would be cool. Also you would of lost if marines took 750 points instead of 500.

was the Ctan rolling 2 dice for amour pen? i feel like it should have probably ripped through the dreadnaught after 2 turns of CC.
and yeah, the space marine list is definitely over 500 points. 10 marines is around 150, 5 terminators are around 203, a dreadnaught is over 100 points, and a captain and librarian are certainly over 100 points combined. Id have your buddy check over his/her list.

Dreadnought + 2 5 man squads + Terminators + Captain + Librarian = 685 points with no upgrades.
Edit: Also, 20 warriors is 260 points, and there's no way possible for a C'tan to be worth 490 points...taking the most expensive puts him at 280, so your force could only have possible been at the very highest 540 points, meaning the space marines had more points. The necrons also have no HQ.
