Here's my my quick attempt at a small 40k pumping/oil station.

I'd been wanting to do something with some bits of old plumbing i'd got in my spares box.
The bulk of it is just polystyrene with plastic card detailing and various bits of diy plumbing.

I just fancied making a peice of random scenery, let me know what you folks think as I got inspiration from this site.

When you can't see the drunk guy at a party, you should look for the nearest mirror.

Probably work

The structure itself looks good, but you're kind of lacking detail. What manner of pumping station is it? Are we talking industrial, or more like a fueling station for vehicles? If the latter, then maybe some actual pumps would be in order. In either case though, I think it would really take off if you had some street lines, either for parking or something like that (The white zone is for loading and unloading only.), maybe if nothing else the edge of the road nearby. If you don't want to go that route, maybe a fence around it?

It's a good start though.

It's certainly greater than the sum of its parts. I like the way you've painted it all up, especially on the plumbing bits. Perhaps some detailing on the base - maybe road markings / pavement?

I'd be happy to have it on my table.

I agree something on the base portion would be cool (gravel driveway maybe?). Otherwise, it's very refreshing to see some terrain of a mundane building not laden with skulls and two-headed eagles. Cannerus likes!
