Hi All,

Has any one got any good tips on some alternative squig models.

Im wanting to do some squig herds but GW models are tooooo EXPENSIVE!!!!!

Any help appreciated.

Troll Forged Miniatures does some nice ones in their Goblin Range

Since I was building a themed forest goblin army at one point my squig heards are spiders. Big ones little ones round ones fat ones.

Didja try a toy store, spiders are a popular design.

Not to go too off topic, but how big are those Dungers? And also how large is the Dungerdon on the same site? Anyone have a size comparison with a Stegadon or something?

Things on Ramshackle tend to be large, and cheap, I know the wolves are pretty huge

I like the Dungers quite a bit! And squig herds are soooo good now...

I like those dungers and am also wondering if they are the same size as squigs.

The trollforged ones look terrible, I am sad to say.

I used some spiders I bought from toy stores, the lil spiders from the Araknorak kit and the big spiders from the spider rider kit as the riders are my herders.

All Dunger entries have a pic with a measure. They are about 3.5 cm long, a bit less than 1.5". The big Dungeron is 15cm long.

I bought a box of plastic Horrors of Tzeentch. They can stand in as squigs with minimal green stuff, as seen here:

I wish some of the indie sculpting outfits would stop making topless slaves and female commissars and make some mean lookig and detailed not-squigs to use as attack squigs...
