Tomorrow!
EDIT: Doing it now.

Hmm... some of these pics haven't come out so well (Winter sun plus yellow paint scheme is a bad thing).
Interestingly, a lot of my IF are very slightly different shades, due to them being painted under different light. I like it as it gives the army a slightly 'worn' feel, but anyone wanting to paint an IF army and have all the yellow turn out the same might want to bear this in mind...
The army's banners work thusly: Captains have a quartered design, with the Chapter Badge, the Company Number and Colour, and some miscellaneous honours (Iron Halo etc). For the squad sergeants, the banner is much simpler - a plain background in the Company Colour, with the Company Number, Squad Number and occasionally an honour badge. The overall idea is that the banners are uniform in design across the army. I need to practise freehand more before attempting a Company Banner!
Anyway, onward:
Thunderfire Cannon
Terminator Squad. I need to re-do the Sergeant's banner at some point to match the (more basic but better-looking) designs that the rest of the army has on it's Sergeants.
Captain of the 1st Company. You know who he is
8th Company Land Speeders (Forge World transfer sheets... YES!)
8th Company Bike (Tactical) Squad I
8th Company Bike (Tactical) Squad II. The shadow of a crazy man with a thunder hammer that you can see on the left of the photo is a member of my lunatic 10-man TH SS Vanguard (on foot) squad.

Thunder Hammers and Storm Shields are what the Codex Astartes tells you to do in the section, "How to deal with shiny people armed with Initiative 6 Power Weapon Instant Death Wondersticks 101". The hurricane plasma guns and Executioner cannon Land Raiders... same section, Appendix 1.

As you wish.... However, the combination of grey carpet, yellow paint and camera flash has done some slightly odd things with the colours...
EDIT: For comparison, check out my gallery or scroll up to the Terminus pictures... the yellows look totally different depending on camera and the type of lighting! The actual colour is probably somewhere between the two.

Small update, I got some more infantry finished off today and also re-did the picture of the guys with jump packs:
Darkness, electric lighting and camera flash have messed with the yellow again. This army is a different colour every time I see it, I'm sure...

Hehe, thanks for the feedback folks
The only reason I could afford it all was working for GW for a few years...! When I've finished my degree and have a 'proper' job, the range will probably have been significantly updated, so I'll have to start adding more. Which is fine, I still have the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th Companies to pick from
To be fair, I generally keep away from plasma in regular games of 40K. I try to avoid giving my models the opportunity to kill themselves and not the enemy! Obviously a different story in Apocalypse, where anything goes. I should note that this army 'grew up' in pretty harsh conditions where Apoc games are concerned, lots of super-heavies, titans, deamon-primarchs and the like.

Two more models done, and the last of the bikes for the time being.
The idea is that these two can join the Captain and Command Squad to make the Ultimate Imperial Fists Biker Death Star of Doom...
EDIT: I've just noticed the transfers are showing on the Chaplain's bike - that'll get fixed when the sun comes back up!

Another Land Raider. This is a variant I'd wanted to build ever since I saw the Stormlord in White Dwarf...
Land Raider "Exterminator" with hull-mounted Vulcan Mega-Bolter and sponson-mounted twin-linked Autocannons.

Finished a Rogue-Trader era Rhino I've had knocking around for years. Also took a photo of it next to my ancient Predator. Enjoy these
Mk. I Rhino
Mk.I Rhino and Mk.I Predator - two Rogue-Trader era tanks! I've also got an original Razorback to finish off - my current project.

There's a decent WIP shot of the Exterminator on in my Blog thread (see sig)... I didn't think to take shots as I went along, but essentially I just cut an adequately-sized space in the upper front section of the hull and gap-filled with Green Stuff (plasticard would have been better...). For the Executioner, I just used the sides of the Flamestorm Cannons from a Redeemer and the weapon cover from Razorback turrets. I'll get an up-close shot sorted for you soon...
EDIT: Have done some more pix and put a guide in my WIP thread.
As far as rules go... in a 5000-points plus Apoc game, having a properly balanced and worked-out points value isn't actually so important. If you've seen some of the crazy stuff in the "official" datasheets, you'll know what I mean! A few custom AV14 non-superheavy vehicles are cool, but not game-breaking. Cost them at about 300-350 points a pop and give them some kind of downside (Gets Hot, reduced/no transport capacity) and you're away. A bit like the Terminus Ultra.
Thanks for the positive comments guys, it's really motivating me to get more done...
Space Marine 'Stronos' pattern Razorback Mk. I
And a final pic of my 'oldskool' tanks all together. Before they go back into the box...

Moving on, yesterday I got a couple of Dreadnoughts finished off to add to the 3rd Company. As a Battle Company, by default they have no Elites - these guys fit the bill nicely!
Dreadnought I - Tarsus
Now with added 'I'
Dreadnought II - Darius
Dreadnought III - Quintus
This one was originally converted into an Ironclad, before the official (and far superior) model got released. I was going to make him into scenery, but managed a reasonable de-conversion job...
And the obligatory group photo!

Finished my last three Land Raiders!
Particularly happy with the FW transfers, may have to revisit some of the others for some improved markings...

I love the blue on the librarian. How did you achieve that affect?
Black undercoat, heavy drybrush of mordian blue, less heavy with ultramarines blue, wash asurmen blue, re-highlight ultramarines with a teeny bit of enchanted blue.
Then Purity seal.
And take a picture of it in the sun!

A while since the last update. Finally got around to finishing the second Stormraven and put some additional transfers on the first one:
8th Company Stormravens
8th Company Stormraven I (in flight)
8th Company Stormraven II (landing gear and flaps down)
