Guessing you guys are using the funding from this to buy your crystal Stetson hats, which you can fill with Champaign to sip when you wish?

It's a lovely looking mat, and I want one, but wow that is an expensive piece of rubber!

I realize the Deadzone mats are not diagonal, but they are less than half the price.

This mat is 4'x4', Deadzone mats are 2'x2'.

For an equivalent to 4 Deadzone mats, the price isn't outrageous. $65 compared with $80 for 4 Deadzone mats from Miniature Market.

Pity you can't really use it for Deadzone...

I like them a lot, will be tempted by these. Also just received my 55mm base, they even gave me the one I requested (having asked in the comments of my order). I'm extremely pleased with it

Hmm yes, when put that way, it isn't too unreasonable. Maybe I am just out of touch with the trading price of rubber?

That being said, I wonder if these will become available through independent retailers like some other MaS things?

I'm seeing one logo in the bottom right, and one in the bottom left, and both Iook almost exactly right for placing a building/container over.

As for use with Dead zone, it's nothing that printing a 3x3 grid on acetate sheet won't solve.

Yeah I am not sure if SS is being serious or just taking the mickey about the people who have whined about this previously.

I personally actually like the Micro Art Hand/Head logo looking like graffiti on the ground, same with the "District 5" graffiti logo.

The Infinity logo is more prominent...and in the perfect position for a dumpster/skip bin. The other one (assuming Micro Arts) looks like a great place for escalating scatter terrain to be placed near a building.

If that is what you consider obnoxious corporate advertising, well that is your right of opinion, but looks darn fine to me.

There's just no pleasing some people.

Very, very tempted to pick one of those mats up. I don't have many Microart buildings, but building footprints tend to be fairly similar.

Price is a bit steep though for a 4x4 mat - the Australian retailer has them for $90. That's more than a lot of 6x4 mats on the market.

Wayland Games have one for £37.80, not sure how that works out with exchange rate + shipping for you?

Oops, my apologies, I didn't realize it was 4'x4'. In that case it looks like a really good deal!

That does look absolutely awesome.

This is going to be a great option for demo games, much easier than lugging around a 4x4 piece of MDF!
