The marines, or the Biostrip 20?
Amazon UK for the stripper.

Cheers. It was the stripper I was asking about. I've got plenty of sources for crappily-painted Space Marines.

Well, most don't gather up 180 of them in one go.

Most of us take years of hard work to accumulate that many poorly painted minis!

Although even at my worst, I don’t think I ever did as bad as some of those poor guys.

Add me to the Biostrip advocates here, it is amazing stuff. My Dad peruses Car Boot Sales for any cheap minis and the amount of thickly/poorly painted disasters that I have been able to salvage is excellent. And no more minis smelling of Dettol forever.

I came back to one of my old projects.
Here's today's work on the iron laspistol.

Putting down some putty to patch holes.

Built the start of the handle, and covered all the patching apart from the skull. That needs more work.

Cos-play? you mean... you're not a real Commissar? All this time I thought that... well.
I just don't know what to think anymore. Next you're going to say you're not even buttery...

No, I'm sure that would go somewhat counter to your role of keeping moral up. Unless you could fit it up to shoot water. And not get arrested while carrying it to work.

I can hear the banter in the office already.

"Remember that time BC shot that guy?"

"Oh yeah, how we all laughed. Good times..."

Lucky sod! How did Xenos play? Any good?

I can't say I rate phone or tablet play. You have to have two hands on the screen, and I do not like playing that way. However even I enjoyed trying.
The controller version looks great fun however. The script is solid; closely from the book, and the voices are very good.

I can't say it's groundbreaking graphically, but it's not grating. They definitely have the look down.

Xenos is the first Eisenhorn (Inquisitor) book by Dan Abnett. And soon it's a Steam game.

I'll get some pics of the more finished gun in daylight tomorrow. I'm quite happy.

Haha, I wouldn't recommend the pistol, it's extremely heavy and shatters what you drop it on.
