I have been trying to come up with a cool color scheme for my necrons( im not doing a completely silver/boltgun metal army) and i was hoping some of you had some suggestions for color schemes, some of the ones i was thinking about doing are-
Red and Silver
Blue/turquoise and gold
Green and Silver
Orange and silver
Purple and silver
Red and gold
purple and gold

anyways any suggestions or colors that would be best for these schemes would be helpful
Thanks,
Lance

Red and silver sounds good!

I’ve recently started with Necrons and want to paint mine bone–coloured, as per Ravendove’s colour scheme.

I think nice, clean primary colors and silver works nicely, particularly blue. Purple might be nice as well. I think green would be a bit overkill.

If that isn't your style, rusty necrons, dirty necrons, or plain old silver necrons are also cool.

I think blue or red with silver would be the coolest, based on the tester models i painted, not sure which.....

I painted up my cron in white and silver and thought they looked pretty spiffy, but from your list I liked the red/silver combo.

Can't go wrong, As Occams Razor would suggest.

I like Ceramic type colour schemes. There is only one example in the new and I think about three in the old codex. I paint my necrons with spacewolfsgrey, wash with asurmen blue and highlights with white.

That looks really impressive, and thanks for the colour list. Any more pics, by any chance? Do you paint Monoliths in those colours too?

You can see my Monolith, although not finished yet. Still trying to figure out how to change the crystals colour.

I think the blues and silver would look good, especially if you swapped the green glow rods for blue ones.
Then paint the vehicles with an ice-blue glow rather than the green.

Life isn't fair. But wouldn't it be worse if Life were fair, and all of the really terrible things that happen to us were because we deserved them?

That looks incredible! I may abandon the bone colour and go with that one instead — I haven’t decided!

^ Are you sure? I can see the images just fine…

It may be possible that you have to be a member of the forum in order to see the post? I’ll take the link down regardless.

well i too love the ceramic style of armor on necrons.. for my necron paint scheme i used 3 blues, a sapphire blue for the base then did asurmen blue wash in the joints to make them a dark blue, then i did general highlights with true blue and edge highlighted with sky blue. painted the gun silver and washed it with badab black, and did a dry brush of the same metal over that. and i also washed the middle plate of the chest to make it dark blue as well and drybrushed the necron symbol with a bright silver. it came out amazing i thoughtfor only like ... 5 colors.. and a wash or 2.

Sounds top tier! Do you have any photos? I looked at your images, but they show only Salamander stuff.
