Hey all,
First off this will be my first Project Build to find its way onto DakkaDakka, and I welcome you all to comment on my little trip in the depths of Commoragh. This is the start of an army I always envisioned since I saw the first hints of the as of then unreleased DE. I am of course refferring to the image in the 40K rulebook in the DE description section, the broad prow of a DE Raider swooping over a group of terrified Guardsmen, with lithe leaping DE Kabalites cutting a swathe out of the bewildered defenders... and the thing that caught my eye was this; The Raider looked like it would suit the colour of bone. Although just a black and white image, I imagined a Kabal of Dark Eldar with armour plates and vehicles built from the carved bone of their victims and captured galactic space creatures. Thus the Kabal of Malum Sautekh, Lord of the Boneyards of Commoragh will come into being.

ANYWAY! Enough of the blurb as I will be writing a fluff to go with the army in the relavant section as the army develops, to begin with I will be starting with my Archon Lord Malum Sautekh, The Starkiller (the star wars reference was not intentional!) and a standard Raider in the soon to be bone colour theme of my army. I will also be experimenting for the first time in my hobby, the use of snow flock for these warriors of darkness and perversion.

Pictures and naration to follow as soon as I find my camera

Found the camera! So here we have the first built model of my army, the mighty Archon Malum Sautekh, madeof the resin Archon model and some plastic parts from the Raider, Kablaite Warrior and Wyche Cult sprues. I scarred the face and helmet of the model to add a sense of dramatisicim to the model. However this is not to be the first model to be painted, as I am waiting on some green stuff in the reccess of his armpit to cure. The first model to be painted is....

....The Raider [i]Painstroke[i]. I've been really looking forward to painting the Raider itself, I've seperated it into several parts to begin with, and then I'll paint up the raider crew, banners and spears. Also looking forward putting the snow base together as well, so if anyone has any suggestions on decent snow basing fire away!

Right!!!! So after many many many many years!!!! (Well a couple only really) I have finnally found my way back to my glorious hobby and with that I have found myself working hard on my old New Dark Eldar.

Indeed a new codex and sculpts reinvigorated my love of the pointy eared kinky space elves, and I find myself having expanded my collection and painting techniques. So without further ado his a picture splurge of what I've gotten up to in the past few months, attempting to bring this army back from the near dead of hobby stagnation

More to follow, I hope you all like and approve
