CSM's have 1st turn and orks fail to seize the initiative.
Full report should be up either later today or tomorrow morning.
The Plan here is to launch a sledgehammer strike up one flank to shatter it while the havocs pick off key targets. Then with one flank secured i intend to sweep around and wipe out the rest of is units. The chosen are just gravy to pick up the scraps.
CSM Turn:1
Move:
Rhinos and Raziel move 12 in. up the left flank.
Shooting:
Havocs wreck two grotzooka kanz.

Ork Turn: 1
Move:
Everything except the lootas move 6 in. toward the enemy.
Shooting:
Mek unit runs 5 in. further behind the kan.
The middle boyz mob runs 6 in. further up.
The shootas and both loota mobz unload on the daemon prince,with him taking 2 wounds in the end.
The kmb kanz wreck skralls rhino with the one hit that makes it through. Squad Skrall passes their pinning test.

Move:
Loken disembarks.
Both squad skrall and loken move 6 in. towards the closest boyz mob.
Warp time goes off for the daemon prince.
Shooting:
Skrall runs 2 in. towards the shootas.
Loken shoots at the boyz mob and kills 4.
Havocs flub all to hit rolls on the grotzooka kanz.
Assault:
Raziel assaults the kmb kanzs wrecking 2 while taking another wound.
Loken charges the boyz killing 15 and losing 4. He fails to roll snake eyes on the morale and after the nob clubbed a boy down with his boss pole for trying to run rolled again. He then rolled

Ork Turn 2:
Waaaaghh! is called!
Move:
Everything except the lootas moves 6 in. towards the closest enemy.
Shooting:
Mek and retinue run 6 in. toward havocs
Kan shoots at and kill one Havoc.
shootas shoot at squad Loken and kill 2.
Both loota mobz shoot at squad skrall and kill 1.
Assault:
Shootas charge squad loken kill two and lose one. They then consolidate 1in. closer together.
In the melee between the d.p. and the kanz the prince gets two pens and a glance wrecking the final kan.
The boyz and mek then charge the havocs wiping them out while losing one boy in the process.

Chosen come in on the left.
Move:
Skrall moves 6 in. towards the shootas.
The d.p moves towards the lootas in the middle.
The rhino moves 12 in. following skrall.
Shooting:
Skrall shoots at the shootas and kills 2.
The chosen wipe the lootas on the left while losing one marine to an overheating plasma gun.
assault:
skrall charges the shootas killing 11 losing 0 and sweeping the survivors.
They then cons. towards Raziel.

GZ kan shoots at and stuns the remaining rhino.

Mek and his boyz move towards the lower right corner...weird figured he'd be charging...

Kan shoots at skrall and kills nothing.

everything except the rhino i think goes toward the boyz and the mek. (Now we have them, just gotta mop up)

The boyz move in toward skrall. (sneaky bastard lured me in so he could get the furious charge.)

The boyz kill one with their shooting.

right. That was really bad. at this point I need to hope for turn 6. If I get it I can close in with my chosen and unload on the boyz. If i can kill enough they will be escorted towards the end of the board with the end result being the game ending and the mek and boyz counting as being destroyed. giving me two extra points and winning me the game i believed at the time.
