Let's see that game was against a good friend of mine. He is not the best 40k player, though he may be damn near unbeatable in fantasy, but I would say he is above par.

The map was 4' by 6' standard, the game was 1500 points, pitched battle, kill points. He had a Death Star of 20 Korne Berzerkers in a Land Raider.

My army was
Shas'el TL MP Flamer
2x Body Guards

XV - 8's
Three groups of three.
TL MP Flamera

Firewarriors
Two squads of six in Devilfish.

Piranah
Two with no upgrades.

Hammerheads
Two with Railguns and Burst Cannons

Broadsides
2x With ASS.

He had the following:
Lord of Korne
Demon weapon

Korne Berzerkers
2x10 with Plasma Pistols in Rinos

Korne Berzerkers
x19 With Plasma Pistols in a Land Raider.

And a Defiler.

The terrain was 6 12" by 12" area terrain plates with assorted ruins evenly spaced accross the board.

Deployment:
He had first turn and deployed in the middle of the board so I could not hide to far from him.

I deployed in my right board corner behind cover to maximise my firebase's strength and the distance between us.

Turn One:
He moved up, he didn't have any real targets for his Defiler who was in a bad spot shot at a HH, but missed.

I moved up and out and Took out the Defiler, and a Rino, and killed 3 Berzerkers. My Broadsides wiffed... I was mad. I held my Piranah back waiting.

Turn 2:
He Moved up again now only some 18" from me with his Land Raider. His dissmounted Berzerkers foot slogged accross an area terrain section. He wanted to move his 2nd Rino closer, but his Land Raider was too large and blocked the space between the 2 buildings. He elected to move his Rino forward towards my board edge and try to flank me.

This turn I popped his Land Raider. It was only wrecked, so the Berzerkers got out unscathed. It took my Broadsides and both HH to drop it so I moved my Piranah Flat out about 3-6" infront of the 20 man blob amd fired all my crisis suits at his now 7 strong squad of Berzerkers that had foot slogged this turn and killed all but 1.

Turn 3:
He moved his Rino up and arround the building and towards my flank. His Berzerkers still didn't dismount. The One guy left from his other 10 man squad moved up, and His 20 Berzerkers Tried to run arround my Piranah.

I Moved my Piranah infront of them again 12" so he would need 6s to hit. I finished off the lone guy with the Piranah and opened up on the remaining Rino. I killed that and 2 guys inside and droppes 2 pie plates on the Berzerker blob. I killed 3 of the blob between the pie platesand the Deathrains.

Turn 4:
He assaults my Piranah realizing what I'm doing and blows up both. Their explosion kills 2 Berzerkers and one of the drones. His 8 man squad moves up and charges a Devilfish I lose it and 3 Firewarriors inside. A drone dies as well, but no one fails pinning.

I open up on his Blob now only 12" from my Broadsides. I score 7 Kills on the blob and 3 on his smaller squad. I move the drones from my Piranah back and position all 3 2" appart making a 7" wide wall.

Turn 5:
He assaults my Piranahs' drones as well as my Firewarrior squad and their drone. He wins both Combats with ease.

I wipe him.

End.

I will always remember that fight as the battle I won because of Piranah... It does sound confusing without visuals. But it was a damn fun match.

Question does the fact he cheated make this more or less impressive?

Land Raiders have a capacity of 12 so his bezerkers can't fit in it.

There is no call for name calling here. We have all made mistakes while playing this game and if you have advice for the OP feel free to post it here, but you can leave the snarky comments out next time.

Seriously, Rule #1 is NOT difficult to follow.

Does it make you feel better about yourself to put new players down? Shameful behavior.

We were all new to the gAme at one point in time. The fact they attempted a battle report you should point out their errors instead of saying " you're stupid because you dont know what what you're doing." everyone makes mistakes

We were all new to the gAme at one point in time, but what we didn't do was make a battle report for everyone to see, If they don't know the rules then they shouldn't be making a battle report.
