My FLGS went out of business when I went to buy it. I mostly buy books to read them and mathhammer. The old VC book was probably what I read least. I just didn't like...much about it. Think it's a bit hokey and unoriginal.

Without spoilering it too much is it a good read? On the order of the other 8th ed army books?

I really enjoyed it. I have not read the others though. I also play VC and you will get a lot of mathammer out of the book. Phil Kelly writes really good balanced books.

I personally liked it and find the army must more versatile and easier to tailor to a persons preference.

The enemy of my enemy is a bastard so lets kill him too.
