They are looking really good Knightley. Never been a big fan of green on Kroot but I like the way yours turned out. Your whites as always look great! Love the little puggy scribe

Always nice to see your painting in progress updates, very precise and effective. The mechanicum went berzerk when improving that kroot though, and the inquisition says we chaos dudes are heartless !
@SW - Thanks mate, I was really struggling to come up with a colour that would fit in with the black, White and red, but then quickly realised that it wouldn't matter so long as there was something to tie him to the Inquisition.
@KT - They certainly did, cut of his spines and put a bronze helmet over his head, I'd be pissed as well
Update: models done
Acolyte 1
Mystic/Psyker/pencil pusher
Arco-Flagellant

Exactly, especially in the facial expressions, I was very fond of the previously finished flamer dude, and now that scribe's face expresses so much. Like he is tired of writing centuries of inquisitorial purges yet still fulfills his duty. Or actually more like he just met an obscene twisted mutant scum and "Do I really have to describe that on paper ?"
As with your other models, I love the highlights on those guys. They turned out great! Can't wait to see what's next!
My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000
Check out my P&M Blogs: ZergSmasher's P&M Blog | Imperial Knights blog | Board Games blog | Total models painted in 2023: 40 | Total models painted in 2024: 7 | Current main painting project: Dark Angels

@Gits - Well just squiggles can get a little boring right? so I add something to mix it up a little
@Graven - Thank you for the kind comments mate, I guess you would have to be a little mad to paint white right?
@KT - Hahah you can imagine he's having to note down everything that happens as well "oh, you killed another one, surprise, surprise. I'll add it to the list"
@SW - He is my fav from this little warband as well
@ZS - Thanks, I liked the way those models came out as well.
@EDC - Cheers buddy
Update: Next up we have 3 acolytes as I need some chaff to protect the actual useful units

@Gits - Thanks dude, split out the grey you get the henchmen colours
@WM360 - I find your amount of faith rewarding
@Mad - To be fair, I had this paint scheme sorted well before ep 7 was announced, but yes, these guys really look like storm troopers
@EDC - It's the helmets right?
Update: Almost done!

@Mad - Hahah I bet, how did you find painting WE's? I don't think I'd risk trying to paint white on such a large scale, just a small inquisitor retinue is just fine for me
@EDC - Course just check out below
Update: done, however as I am now working to a fast approaching deadline these guys aren't as crisp as I would like :S
Acolyte with Helgun and bayonet
Acolyte with Helgun
Acolyte with Plasma gun

I actually didn't find painting the white that bad, just had to be really careful not to make a mistake and it is a bit strange not being able to highlight the armour. The yellow marine on the other hand, was a lot trickier to get looking how I wanted.
That little freehand sword on the second hellgun is awesome. It's these little details that I love to find
Hive Fleet Ngaro 4800 points
Cult of the Red Saviour 1700 points
Zerg Infested Terrans 2300 points
@SW - Thanks, the helguns were a snap choice, they were just going to be plain lasguns
@Gits - Cheers!
@Mad - God yes, Yellow is an utter nightmare trying to get solid and streak free, I vow never to paint yellow ever again!
Update: next group for Coteaz started - sorry about the blurriness

You recognise the Dr Zaius? That one is from you hopefully I'll do him some justice!
Update: Red's highlighted and started on the bone

@SW - Counts as jokaero so the monkey ape works a treat
@Gits - its quintessential 40k right, something so over the top but looks cool doing so!
Update: Bone and White underway
