First batrep, so I hope you guys can bear with me on this, and I know that some pics or a video might have been better but I think that it should be posted anyways, so here we go!

Mission: Capture and control
Deployment: Pitched battle

We roll to see who gets first deployment and Martin wins the roll-off and deploys first, placing his 9 Spyders in a long line with 30 Scarabs at the front lines, whilst his Ghost Ark with the HoD Cryptek and Warrior squad deploys to the right and his second Warrior with his Overlord and Despair Cryptek's squad at the left flank behind the Spyder wall18 away from his objective, I then deploy my 15 Warriors directly on top of my objective which was placed only 8 inches into my deployment zone, and form an Immortal phalanx with both Crypteks and Overlords leading a squad each, whilst both Annihilation barges take a flank each deployed slightly behind the Immortal wall and the Wraiths also take a flank each deployed further spread out from the other units and make good use of terrain and cover to prevent what little shooting martin had. I rolled to see if I seized the initiative and oh lucky me scored a 6! so I had first turn....

Turn 1:

Both units of Wraiths moved 12 along each flank, the right hand squad making good use of the impassible terrain whilst the left hand unit moved towards a small section of tree's, the only other movement was the Annihlation barges which moved 6 inches to get a better view of the massive scarab wall that was heading their way.
Shooting saw all the Immortals focus on the central squad of Scarabs, gunning down 3 bases and the Crypteks lance killing off a 4th.
The Annihilation barges fired at the outer groups of Scarabs, taking down 2 bases from the right squad and 1 from the left squad.
No assaults this turn.

Martin hit back with spawning 9 Scarabs all together, taking 3 wounds on the Spyder wall.
He then moved his Scarab wall up 6 inches along with the following Spyders, whilst his Ghost Ark moved up 6 in a straight line as with the Overlord's squad on the left flank towards his Objective.
No shooting took place in Martins turn so we went straight to Assault which saw the outer Scarabs squads assaulting both Wraith squads as the Barges were out of assault range. Thankfully whip coils saved me from a lot of punishment as I struck first, killing 6 bases out of the right hand Scarab swarm and 5 out of the left, whilst Martin only downed a single Wraith in the right hand squad and wounding one in the right, he then took his fearless saves which saw another base go and 2 wounds on another on the left and 2 bases, some pretty bad rolling for Martin there cost him a decent alot of his Scarabs.

Turn 2:

My movement was nothing but the two Barges moving 6 each in their flank directions and the arrival of the Deathmarks.
Shooting once again consisted of Tesla Immortals firing at the central swarm of Scarabs, wounding a base twice and the Crypteks lances insta-killing a base. The Barges fired their destructors on the flanking Spyders, wounding them thrice in total.The recently arrived Deatmarks had chose the footslogging Warrior squad as their prey and were in rapid-fire range, letting loose a volley that downed 3 and killed three as they failed the RP rolls. Assault saw the Wraiths destroy each unit of flanking Scarabsand both consolidating 1 each....

Martin then focused on Spawning an extra 3 Scarabs into the remaining scarab swarm and moved everything up 6.
Martin got his Warrior squad into rapid fire range of the Deathmarks and manages to down 3, however 2 made their RP rolls.
The massive Scarab swarm decided to multi assault the Immortal squads, this could get ugly.....
Both Overlords strike and kill 4 bases right out with their Warscythes, while both Immortal squad and Crypteks take down another 2 bases.
Surprisingly, his return attacks did very little and only managed to kill 4 Immortals, and that won me the combat, although he did well with his saves this round, the Scarabs lost another base to Fearless wounds.

Turn 3:

As almost everything was bogged down by Scarabs, there was not a lot of movement, just the one Barge moving 3 to get a better shot at the Central Spyder unit and the Wraiths moving to support the Immortal squads.
Shooting saw a Barge killing 2 Spyders and wounding the remaining one, and the Second barge fired at the Ghost Ark and did not do anything, Deathmarks fired and failed to do anything also.
The Wraiths then assaulted the Scarab swarm from the left and the others a unit of Spyders, All together from the Wraiths whip coils, they Killed another 3 bases and the Overlords made short work of the remaining swarms. The second Wraith unit did fairly well but not as well as hoped as 2 were killed by Spyders but they also managed to kill 2 of the three Spyders and left the remaining with 2 wounds. (Thank God for Rending!)

Martin had no more swarms to spawn into so it was up to his Spyders and Warriors to win the game for him, so he moved the central Spyders up and the left hand as well around the forestry, his Warriors firing and assaulting the Deathmark squad, reducing them to 2, but I pass leadership, As the Ghost Ark also moves forward. The Wraiths make short work of the remaining Spyder and consolidate 1.... again.


Turn 4:

Turn 4 was the turn that I actually moved the Immortals up, in order to soften up some Spyders for the Wraithsto finish off in Assault, as they too move up.
Shooting saw one more dead Spyder and a 2nd wounded badly and the Ghost ark Wrecked by an Annihilation barge.
Assault killed off my last Deathmark, but saw that the Wraiths assaulted the Warrior squad and wiped 4 of them out and swept the rest, and so as the second Wraith squad saw the destruction of the last Spyders, Martin conceded defeat.

Victory to the Tesla spam Necrons!

Overall a very fun game, Martin is a great opponent and it was nice to get a little revenge for my crushing loss against his Templars all those years ago...

Nice report! First Necron v Necron I've seen. Pics or some kind of visual would have really helped though, but good job! It seems wraith have put scarabs in the unemployment line...

Well done! Seeing the lists I knew the Scarab farm was doomed; one squad of wraiths will easily annihilate three times their number in scarabs!

Glad you guys liked it, as I said, pics would make it better but unfortunately I didn't take a camera with me
