Alright have my sights set on lizardmen for a tourny in July which should give me a lot of time to paint it. The main issue I am having right now is that I cannot pick between the Lore's of life and light. Life buffs the saurus and such to stupid toughness, grants regen and lets you grow back models while protecting yourself from miscasts and still giving a few damage spells including dwellers beneath. Light makes up for the one glaring weakness in a lizardmen army, speed, while giving a few damage spells. Both seem good, and I am running big blocks of infantry, so what do you guys think?

Light is much better for winning games, Life is better for not losing games.

Overall, Light is far superior in every regard if you're running a combat Lizards list.

Life is the more conservative choice, its generally a safer bet if you are relying on a big Temple Guard block to do all your heavy lifting. In general both lores achieve much the same thing in different ways, but the biggest advantage Light has over Life is that most of its spells can be cast as an AOE which for me gives it the edge when you are running 3 blocks of Saurus or more. Light also doesn't need you to be in a unit quite so much so is clearly a better choice for a solo Slann. The only real thing that Life has over Light is its Lore attribute (very helpful for some Lizard lists) and Dwellers, which can win you games by itself.
