You need to use image tags.

These work much like the quote tags that you see when you quote another user. Except inside the brackets you'll have the url of the image you wish to display.

here's an url for you : http://wiki.eth-0.nl/images/9/9e/Great_success.jpg

now put the following around it -- please note when you do this do NOT put the "1" in there, I've put it so you can see the tags.

[1img] url goes in here [1/img]

Please be careful with what images you do post, especially with regards to language and inappropriate imagery and please don't go overboard with this, we don't allow or want people spamming images endlessly.

well, ive tried uploading pics to my blog here, and it shows up as a broken image... ive tried uploading it from my dakka gallery, and from my flickr account but neither work.
the only way that works is uploading directly from my computer, which doesnt let me write above or below the image. ihave not clue why?

You have your images on the gallery, right? just scroll down a bit, there should be a bunch of boxes on the right; simply copy the contents of the box that says "forums"

There's even a helpful picture in the gallery to explain it.

After reading this page and seeing what you have said, If the OP doesn't mind and no one else does, It breaks down like this. I can load from a online picture sharing website, using [/1img] with out the 1 of course. Or i can load picture to the gallery and get an url from there and use that in post? So basically there are two ways of up loading images? Reason i ask, is because i want to start a P&M blog, and i know nothing about computers. I am lucky to find the space bar on a good day. So i don't need a photo bucket account to load images, would be the main question i have.

Yep either in the gallery here, in which the image I linked above helps further, or from anywhere else. As long as it's wargaming related it's welcomed in the gallery.
