So I was making a list yesterday for weekly play at my LFGS when I came to the crisis suits I wasn't quite sure what the most effective way to load them out would be. I ended up taking Plasma Rifles, Burst cannons, and Multi-trackers. Now it turns out this ended up working out well for me being I played against a weapons team heavy guard army. The burst cannon made quick work of the squishy guards men. I feel my success was mostly due to this fact. Anyone have any suggestions as to what they would take on a regular basis, or if I should test out this weapons combo a few more times.

Plasma rifles, missile pods and multi tracker is a very effective loadout for suits.Or for hordes try twin-linked flamer and missile pods, very cheap and effective.

for HQ suits go with plasma rifles, missle pods, multi trackers due to their better BS they make more wounds happen down range,

for the regular suits in groups of 3 or 2 is good too, go with twin linked missle pods, and flamers

broadsides id go with
groups of 2 with a leader with the target lock, and a couple shield drones, so you can shoot at more than 1 target at a time.

if you want to tank hunt with suits id go with
2 suits make 1 a leader with target lock, give them both twin linked fusion blasters and target arrays. and deep strike them, while using the pathfinders to guide them with their devil fish, and a positional relay on an HQ to bring them in on a 2+ when you need them.

hope this helps some.

If you fancy taking your balls and placing them firmly on the walls, Monat Leader teams w/ Fusion Blaster + Missile Pod + MT + Drones are pretty entertaining. Needs a list w/ pathfinders and a firm sense of taking one for the greater good.

Wouldn't recommend them if you aren't used to using them though. Or if your list isn't built to support them.

Plasma rifles, missile pods, multi-tracker

or

Plasma rifles, fusion blasters, multi-tracker (or if on HQ and bodyguards, targetting arrays with the mutli's hard wired)

or

Twin linked missile pods and flamers

or

on HQ's, airburster and fusion blaster /or/ plasma gun and cyclic ion blaster

I haven't found anything else worth taking.

After all of that, if I were to run 3 teams, 3 suits each, it'd be a FireStorm, FireKnife and Deathrain unit, in 1750+ games.

You were running "bladestorm", PR/BC. The name/translations are available on the 'Net in many places.

Rekose is right.. I run the EXACT same 9 suits at 1500 pts...

3 Knives
3 Storms
3 Rains....

I might change out the storms or rains for knives if I know all im playing all day is MEQ.. but as a TAC list the 3 suit configs is balanced and they all still have 2 MP each for popping AV10-11

I would run
3 Helios
3 Bladestorms
3 Fireknife

On the link, it clearly states that the Deathrain is terrible at everything apart from taking out light vehicles.
