The good doctor has some important points.
I would keep the
KFF, as it will save 1/3 of the wounds you sustain.
I don't like footslogging burna boyz.....they die like orks and cost two and a half times the amount of a boy....that's WAY too much,
IMO.
I also don't like throwing a trukk in the list, even if it is to carry the nobz. Trukks go down even to light weapons fire, regardless of the
KFF.
Expanding on that matter, I'm not fond of footslogging nobz.....they're just too vulnerable, everything that would be directed at vehicles will instead be directed at the nobz, and will cause
ID(krak missiles, lascannons, meltas, etc.).
Warbikes are like throwing the trukk in, and operate at a different speed from the rest of the army. Also, if you're going to spend 10 points on a nob, you might as well buy him a
BP.
Shootas are more efficient for footslogging mobs. You're better off throwing all big shootas or all rokkits on the mobs as well.....a single rokkit launcha won't make much difference at all....but if you're going for a vehicle, those
BS and shoota/slugga shots are mainly wasted. Make the mobs anti-infantry or anti-vehicular(but keep in mind that 30 boyz with 3 rokkits is not very good ranged
AV).
If you're boyz are slugga/choppa equipped, you're better off running them in the shooting phase, in which case you really don't need special weapons.
I'd drop the warbikes, burnas, and nobz for another boyz mob, add a few more lootas, and add some big gunz(kannon) if you're sticking with the Green Tide.
So, what I think of the list as it stands?
The burnas and lootas only need a couple wounds to make them run, and the warbikes only one.
Popping the trukk will probably cause a few wounds, and then force the nobz to slog along with everyone else, but that kareen result may move them out of
KFF range.
At 1k, Green Tide, I'd try something like:
85 -
KFF Big Mek
75 - 5 Lootas
75 - 5 Lootas
220 - 30 boyz, nob upgrade w/
PK,
BP
220 - 30 boyz, nob upgrade w/
PK,
BP
220 - 30 boyz, nob upgrade w/
PK,
BP
40 - 2 Kannons
40 - 2 Kannons
25 - 1 Lobba
1000 points on the dot, and gives you fire support while you're charging. You can take care of light vehicles between the lootas and kannon, and the kannon have the option of a blast shot as well as being able to glance AV14. I don't use lobbas normally, but had an extra 5 points, so why not for some fun?
Either way, enjoy! I hope I'm not coming off as harsh, or as an a55, I'm just keeping it real and talking straight! Bring the WAAAGH!!! to them, and have fun
