This will go up on the blog in a few days (with pics wherever you see DSC number).
It's just a copypasta.
So many jokes to be made about Rhyas's "Rear Guard."
Basically it's a theme force that includes Warlords and (ugh) Typhon. I got to play Ethan Solomon in round 1 of a 50 point tournament at the Dice Dojo that was played for Trophies.

I put the Whelps on the table so that I could remember them.

Whoo Troll Brick! Rock Walls, Earthborn Animus ftw!
DSC04287
I charged with both heavies Rushed too early. Ethan placed his heavies perfectly. I managed to snag the Chieftain and then Goad into the Scythean. And then nothing.
DSC04288
Tough Rolls were good to me, and with Steady my Runeshapers are standing strong. I think Doomshaper feated here, which lead to some damage on Rhyas's turn.
DSC04289
Some of my Tremors hit, knocking down the Warmongers. Either that, or it was a crit Rock Hammer, but the Tremor is just so much more likely to happen! Typhon and Rhyas together manage to kill the Earthborn but not much else because of the dangers of Doomshaper's feat.
DSC04290
Typhon gets some shots against Doomshaper, who survives on a Tough Roll and shakes it off.
Ethan misjudges the Soldier's charge that takes it just out of Rhyas's control area.
Doomshaper gets closer to Stranglehold a couple times and then the Axer eats a free strike, manages to NOT lose an aspect, and finishes Rhyas off.
A sloppy and embarrassing win, but at my age you learn to take it.
